I'm here to talk about a very overrated card, and one that I think is a big
disappointment (even though I like this Pokemon).

This card is Aerodactyl.  His pokemon power, while being powerful, still has
its downsides.  It also stops your Pokemon from evolving!  So, if you get
Aerodactyl, and soon afterward, some good evolutions, you've got yourself in
a hole.  The best solution to this problem is to put little or no evolutions
in a deck with Aerodactyl.  His weakness to plant is no help at all.
Scyther, Pinsir and Muk each destroy this Pokemon.  He is not at all able to
withstand Venusaur's Solarbeam.  Nidoking's Toxic does 20.  It doubles to 40
with weakness, and hurts Aero with 20 more poison damage at the end of
Nidoking's turn.  This damage totals out to 60, which KO's Aero.  60 HP is
subpar for an evolution, especially for one that's tough to get (because it's
a rare card in packs).  The 60 HP is even worse when you consider that its
pre-evolved form, Mysterious Fossil, has only 10 HP.  With 10 HP, Fossil is
likely to get KO'ed before it can evolve.  Aero has 2 retreat cost, which
stinks for a flying type, especially for a stage 1.  Most flying types have
no retreat cost, like Pidgeot, Spearow, Fearow, Doduo, Dodrio, Zubat, Golbat,
Scyther, Butterfree, and Beedrill.  These are just some of the many Pokemon
that are resistant to him since he is a Fighting type.  Also, with all of the
fight-resistant Pokemon coming out, Hitmonchan and Fighting types are
becoming less popular, making his resistance less helpful.  His attack is
average, and too weak to support him.  One more bad thing about Aerodactyl is
his picture, which looks horrible.

Amongst all of Aero's bad qualities, I did find one good thing about him that
no other Pokemon has.  Being resistant to fighting (which is Aero's own type)
allows him to be safe in confusion.  When Pokemon are confused and try to
attack but end up failing, they attack themselves.  Aero is resistant to his
own type, so when he attacks himself in confusion, he doesn't hurt himself.
He's fighting, and he's resistant to fighting, so when he attacks himself
with 20 damage, which is reduced to nothing by his resistance.

I really hope you post this Pojo.  Well, thanks for reading, that's all for
today, DJ.
