Welcome again, to my workshop. I still need to do some
setting up here, so pardon the mess. Watch out for the wires!
I'm here to respond to a comparison between the
Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle family, made by Dragonfire5. But before I
start saying anything, I would like to announce that comparing the beginning
pokemon (Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur)) is completely useless. There
is no point. You are just wasting your time trying to do this.
They are all used for completely different stragegies.
FIrst off, if the point system is unreliable, then why are you
even using it? Compare in another way. How can listing them in the
order of the pokedex change your biased opinion? It doesn't matter!
It's bad enough that your using the point system, but at least get the attacks
correct. Venusaur needs 4 grass energy to do Solarbeam. Also, you
should at least look at other aspects of the card before comparing. You
forgot to compare pokemon powers.
Personally, I'm not a Venusaur fan, but you totally underrate
Venusaur's power. Energy Trans is very impressive. It can move a
plant energy form one pokemon to another, regardless of the pokemon type.
This makes this pokemon power good for Pokemon Center. Also, energy
denial decks are almost dead against Venusaur. An energy trans can
easily bring a pokemon back up fighting.
