im going to write my opinion on dark blastoise. ive never written about base
set blastoise before but i think he's tied with the best cards in the game.
(i dont think there is a best card but his strategy is great).
anyway, now ill talk about dark blastoise.
stage#: 2 (worst u can get but the best cards r stage 2 once theyr active)

attack 1 Hydrocannon: 2W, 30 damage, does 20 more damage for each W energy
attached but can only do up to 40 more. (its like 3 attacks in 1, for 2 u get
kabutops sharp sicle, for 3 u get gyradoses dragon rage, for 4 u get dugtrios
earthquake only without any drawbacks. this attack rocks.)

for a W and 2 C u get attack 2 rocket tackle:does 40 damage. 10 damage to
dark blastoise. flip a coin, if heads blastoise will take no damage next
turn. (this is kinda like rapidashes agility because it does 10 more damage
but it does 10 damage to himslf, gaining 30 damage with the coin flip.

HP:70 (not to great for a stage 2)

retriet cost: 2 (really good for a stage 2)

picture: it looks really cool. lol.

weakness to electric.

overall: i think its the 2nd best water type in the game as long as u can get
him active with base blastoise on the bench. a good strategy for the late
game.
