first off, i do like haymaker, it's just that im tired of people that
complain about haymakers. the answer is pretty simple to destroy hymakers.
just make a deck that makes your opponent discard enegies, and add defenders
and potions to fustraut your opponent. most haymaker users put in around
10-12 or 15-20 (if the deck only uses one type) so they can add in good
trainers to quickly kill their opponent. so that means they rarely add energy
retreival, which leaves them open to having to discard energies. also, most
haymakers have an attack that does 20-40 damage which needs a small amount of
energies to use. that means if you have a pluspower on your pokemon, their
attack will usually only do 0-20 damage each turn. if they do get to attack
you hard, thats why you add potions/ super potions. a good anti-haymaker deck
to make would include psyducks/golducks and dratini/dragonaire (of course
assuming you have double colorless energies) and some kind of haymaker or
staller so you can hold off a while. and also include scythers, in case you
run into hitmonchan or any other fighting pokemon. of course, if this does
work, haymakers would no longer own the throne anymore. but experience will
determine the outcome.
