Japanese cards should not be allowed in any tournaments or battles anywhere. 
First of all, I, like most of the general population, do not read or speak
much japanese.  Translation guides suck, since I sincerely believe much is
lost in the translation.  Refer that post a while back by Nick Vital (I think
it was him...) in which the judge misread the translation for Blaine's Gym.

But the most important reason I think they should not be allowed is that they
mess up the pokemon 'Ecosystem'.  A lot of the gym and rocket series cards
are incredibly powerful (Like Erika's Thought, which was posted on a while
back).  I'm sure there are other cards, more powerful gym and rocket cards
that can counter these, but they are really tough for base set decks to beat.
Until the english versions of these sets are released, they should not be
allowed in tournaments.
