Hey Pojo!
Must say I love the web site. (Who doesn't kiss
up in the opening statement? (: )
You know by now that on each turn (except for
Rain Dance decks) you only get to attach one energy to
your Pokemon.
Energy efficiency is how much bang you get for
you buck, sort to speak.
Example: Hitmonchan's Jab delivers 20 damage for
1 energy card. This is a very good use of energy on
Hitmonchan. (EE - 20)
Promo Mewtwo's Psyburn does 40 for 3. His EE is
13.333. Not as good as Hitmonchan.
The best I've found is Clefable, if Metronoming
Firespin. 100 for 1. EE - 100.
The worst? Basic Haunter. 50 for 2 doesn't
seem
bad at an EE rating of 25. BUT! Dream eater will
only work if your opponent is asleep. That only
happens one out of every four turns. Take that 25,
divide it by 4, and you get a lousy 6.25!
More on this later. It gets in depth when you
start taking coin flips into consideration. (Agility,
poison, smokescreen, etc....)
