For everyone that thinks that haymaker is all dried up, or running out of
ideas, here's something to whet your appetite.
I was looking though my old haymaker deck from back when Fossil expansion
was released.  I really wanted to compete with it again, but was getting
beat by the local kids.  The usual 2nd turn Aerodactyl combo was just not
getting by anymore (even though it was claimed to be by many in the area to
be the "unbeatable" deck).  It was only winning about 60% of the time, so it
was time for a change.
I started by taking out the Aeros and the Mys. Fossils.  A lot of people had
chosen decks with little evolution, so I geared this towards the locals.  My
first solution was to add up to 4 E.R.s and 4 S.E.R.s, but that didn't get
me enough power to lock down my opponent.  Then it occured to me.....Item
Finder.  I rarely played card in my area just turned into one of the most
popular cards on the block.  Being able to remove up to a maximum of 20
energy breaks most decks.  And if that's not enough, you can cut it down and
reuse some of those ever popular plus powers to give your attacker that much
more juice.
The question I get a lot though is "With all the fighting resistance, how do
you win?"  Well, Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are very good (especially the
stretch kick to grab that last prize) but to be well rounded, I made sure to
include these:

Jigglypuff -->Wigglytuff
Scyther (Oh yeah!)

Now, I can run up to 60 damage a turn, or switch up on the fly to protect
against fighting decks.  Psychic is no problem with Wiggles...and I'm all
set.  Toss in an Oak or two (cause Bill doesn't cut it, I still think he's
horrible) and it's good.  4 double colorless and a handfull of fighting and
now the deck wins 90% of the time.  If anyone wants to discuss this deck or
