(Note:
This anecdote explains the deck, but is longer than my normal ones. If you
aren't in the mood to read an elaborate description, then scroll to the bottom
to the deck.)

a lab with many scientists inside. It turns to show the entire contents of the
lab. Then it turns toward someone.)
Whether Man: Log 28. April 4,
2000. We at the Whether Station have tested out, using our state of the art
probability testing devices...
Mewtwo: Some paper and a pen...
Whether Man: May have created
some actual use for the Eaamudo. Not the actual Eaamudo, who's hopeless, but
the card Eaamudo. For weeks the Whether Station crew has worked fevereshly
trying to find a deck to expoit Eaamudo's strength, damage prevention. Eaamudo
has already been posted on other articles, so I won't post a translation. Ahh,
heck, why not?
Eaamudo HP: 60
C: Key Claw
20
Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.
SCC: Steel Wing
30
Flip a coin. If heads, if this pokemon is damaged
by an attack, that damage is reduced by 20.
Weakness: Fire Resistance: Grass
Retreat: 2
Whether Man: I have no doubt that this
card will become a haymaker pokemon. However, creating a Haymaker would
require no effort, skill, planning, or challenge.
Mewtwo: Exactly
what the Whether Man's good at!
Whether Man: Using
the card, we thought about a deck that could attack, but also prevent damage.
We worked on this idea, trying to build on it. We also attempted to use
Eaamudo's resistance to maximum power.
Mewtwo: We came up
with a few Aeromakers. Using various cards like LT. Surge's Electabuzz, which
is almost as good as Promo Mewtwo, it wasn't too difficult. However, we wanted
to take it one step further.
Whether Man: Our
previous experiment with Odairu failed miserably. Also, an experiment with
Eaamudo as a splash card for decks weak to Muk never worked either. Too
dependant on Steel energy.
Mewtwo: After 7
hours of going nowhere, we finally realized that we weren't going anywhere.
Then we thought up of something. Eaamudo can prevent up to 30+ damage using
his Steel Wing attack. This makes him not only a perfect Haybreaker, but also
a hoser to anyone who can do any less than 40 damage. So we decided that if we
could use a card that could prevent 30+ damage, we would have a duo that would
be ready for just about anything.
Whether Man: So we
came up with Mr. Mime. We decided that Psychic and Electric were the best
types to use with Steel, and since the combo with Mr. Mime was, in theory,
pretty good, we used him.
Mewtwo: We then
threw in 4 Mewtwo, 4 Bills, 2 Oaks, 3 Gust, 4 Steel energy, 3 CPU Search, and
4 SER as an impulse. Then we found something. There is a stadium card called
Bellsprout Temple that reduces all colorless attacks -30 damage. It's like
everyone has a resistance to colorless. This was a great card to add to our
damage prevention deck, since we didn't run colorless pokemon yet.
Whether Man: We threw in the baby pokemon Elekid and Pii also. They both have
no weakness, no resistance, no retreat, and a Baby Power that allows you to
flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's attack does nothing. Here's Pii:
Pii HP:30
Baby Power: (I just explained it)
C: Pipipi
Shuffle your hand into your deck, then draw 7 cards
Whether Man: Pretty cool, huh? Since it doesn't deal
damage, it's type isn't affected. In the end, we played around and got this:
SOLID STEEL
4 Steel
4 Eaamudo
14 Psychic
3 Mr. Mime
2 DCE
4 Promo Mewtwo
4 Bill
3 Elekid
2 Professor Oak 3 Pii
3 Computer search
2 Energy Retrieval
3 Bellsprout Temple
3 SER
3 Gust of Wind
3 Golden Nut
Whether Man: So what do
you think? Any suggestions are welcome. End of log.
