Hello fellow Pojoholics!
Well, I've been reading the Wiggly vs. Sneasel debate for some time now,
and now I guess I should put in my two cents.
First of all, I will not say which is better, so if you are looking for
an all-knowing final winner to this argument, look somewhere else. I am
simply here to name some of the possible advantages and disadvantages of
these two very similar cards, as to let you choose for yourself.
Wiggly's Advantages:
More HP (80 vs. 60)
Full Heal with Evolution
Consistent first turn attack (Jiggly's pound, more reliable than fury
swipes)
More consistent attack (60 per turn, no coin flip)
Attacks are easier to power up. (Colorless vs. Dark)
Stalling attack in a pinch (Lullabye)
Wiggly's Disadvantages:
Weakness to Fighting (I know it's almost dead)
Sprout Tower
More dependence on Pluspower (too many 70 HP pokemon)
Sneasel's Advantages:
Basic Pokemon
Does more damage according to averages (80 vs. 60)
Free Retreat
No Weakness
Can do damage without Dark Energy (fury swipes)
Can power up more quickly
Sneasel's Disadvantages:
Dependence on Dark Energy (prone to energy removal)
Erika's Dratini
Attacks based on coin flips
Neo 2 Xatu (Poke Power that moves opponent's energy around, limited to
Psychic decks)
Notes:
Sneasel is actually easier to power up with 4 rainbow and 4 dark energy.
With Wigglytuff you need the Wigglytuff and the DCE to power it up,
meaning that if you find one Dark Energy for Sneasel, you have 7 left in
your deck. Once you find a Wiggly or DCE, you now have 4 cards left in
your deck. This is made up because Sneasel does damage to itself with
Rainbow Energy.
That is my analysis.
