Color me impressed. I have become a fan of Ness and his skills for a
while now. And this latest idea of his just shows me why. His card
differentiation idea is probably only likely to come up less than 10% of the
time  (which in and of itself makes it more remarkable) but when it does
come into play it will be of huge advantage in a close game. Congrats.
It reminded me of something I tried in a 'fun' game and it ,too, is
technically legal. If you put your deck into clear sleeves you will notice
that the back of any Pokemon card is assymetrical (not uniform). The
pokeball on the card has a button that is going to go in one direction or
the other. If you then put your energy into your deck upside down then you
would know if you have an energy card coming up next, and this would be a
big advantage if you were playing (or playing against) a Dark Vileplume
deck.
Now, I am NOT advocating this because it does give an unfair
advantage but it is something that is technically legal and would work and
provide an advantage in the right deck.   Later Gator, Mark
