Today I will talk about Rain Dance cards. They are cards that should be in Rain Dance decks.

The Great Rain Dance Pokemon

Blastoise
Stage 2 Water Pokemon  (Evolves From Wartortle)
LV. 52    HP 100
[Pokemon Power]    Rain Dance
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may attach 1 W Energy to 1 of your W pokemon. (This doesn't use up your 1 Energy card attachment for the turn.) This power can't be used if Blastoise is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
WWW:    Hydro Pump:    40+
Does 40 damage plus 10 more damage for each W Energy attached to Blastoise but not used to pay  for this attack's Energy cost. Extra W Energy after  the 2nd don't count.
-CCC    Retreat
L          Weakness
No. 009    (Holographic)

Rain Dance decks are built around this guy because of his power that breaks the rule of 1 energy a turn. That makes other Water pokemon and Blastoise charged up very early for destruction!!

Dark Blastoise
Stage 2 Water Pokemon  (Evolves From Dark Wartortle)
LV. 28    HP 70
WW:    Hydrocannon:    30+
Does 30 damage plus 20 more damage for each W Energy attached to Dark Blastoise but not used to pay for this attack. You can't add more than 40 damage in this way.
WCC:    Rocket Tackle:    40
Dark Blastoise does 10 damage to itself. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all damage done to Dark Blastoise during your opponent's next turn. (Any other effects of attacks still happen.)
-CC    Retreat
L        Weakness
No. 009 (Holo/Rare)

When the Team Rocket series hit the streets, Dark Blastoise was a dream addition to Rain Dance because turn 2 70 damage was a great way to knock out haymaker pokemon, fast!!

Dewgong
Stage 1 Water Pokemon  (Evolves From Seel)
LV. 42    HP 80
WWC:    Aurora Beam:    50
WWCC:    Ice Beam:    30
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now paralyzed.
-CCC    Retreat
L          Weakness
No. 087  (Uncommon)

Dewgong was one of the first Rain Dance pokemon. Aurora Beam was an awesome attack for the cost of WWC!!

Gyarados
Stage 1 Water Pokemon  (Evolves From Magikarp)
LV. 41    HP 100
WWW:    Drangon Rage:    50
WWWW:    Bubblebeam:    40
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now paralyzed.
-CCC    Retreat
G          Weakness
F           Resistance
No. 130  (Holographic)

Gyarados would be awesome if it didn't have to evolve froma Magikarp!! He and Dewgong are almost the same. If you want to gamble for more power, use Gyarados. If you don't like to gamble and you like good HP basics, use Dewgong.

Dark Gyarados
Stage 1 Water Pokemon  (Evolves From Magikarp)
LV. 31    HP 70
[Pokemon Power]    Final Beam
When Dark Gyarados is knocked out by an attack, flip a coin. If heads, this power does 20 damage for each W Energy attached to Dark Gyarados to the pokemon that knocked out Dark Gyarados. Apply weakness and resistance. This power can't be used if Dark Gyarados was knocked out Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
WWW:    Ice Beam:    30
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now paralyzed.
-CC    Retreat
G       Weakness
F        Resistance
No. 130  (Holo/Rare)

Final Beam is awesome and cool. Dark Gyarados's Ice Beam is also less expensive than Dewgong's. That 2 retreat cost better than Base Gyarados's too. If only it didn't have to evolve from Magikarp!!

Lapras
Basic Water Pokemon
LV. 31    HP 80
W:    Water Gun:    10+
Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each W Energy attached to Lapras but not used to pay for this attack's Energy cost. You can't add more than 20 damage this way.
WW:    Confuse Ray:    10
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now confused.
-CC    Retreat
L        Weakness
No. 131  (Holo/Rare)

Now Rain Dance has great basic pokemon so Squirtles could evolve to Blastoise without being knocked out early!!

Articuno
Basic Water Pokemon
LV. 35    HP 70
WWW:    Freeze Dry:    30
Flip a coin. If heads, the defending pokemon is now paralyzed.
WWWW:    Blizzard:    50
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's benched pokemon. If tails, this attack does 10 damage to each of your own benched pokemon. (Don't apply weakness or resistance for benched pokemon.)
-CC    Retreat
          Weakness
F        Resistance
No. 144  (Holo/Rare)

Ah! Another great Basic pokemon to protect the Squirtles and they don't take up lots of space!!

These should be some of the cards in Rain Dance to make a great Rain Dance!! There are other pokemon I should have listed, but I'm tired so see ya!!
