Hi! KarateKid13 (a.k.a. chris madsen) here! Today i have strategies for
beating the big three, and 2 decks.

So, you want to know what decks to look out for? Well, the big three are
the main problem. Wiggly (and it's variants), Haymaker (and it's
variants), and Rain Dance. The solutions for these would be:

Solutions for Wiggly:

Solution #1: Hand Destruction
If they can't draw the cards, they can't get the cards they need to win.
Use cards like Rocket Sneak Attack, Impostor Oak's Revenge, and Rocket's
Trap. I mean, at the pokemon league in boulder, colorado, about 50% of
everyone there plays a form of hand destruction, and wiggly decks just
get screwed.

Solution #2: Trainer Denial
If they can't use the card drawing trainers, they can't get the cards
they need to win. Use dark vileplume or chaos gym. Those are the
ULTIMATE trainer denial cards.

Solutions for Haymaker:

Solution #1: Metagame
Counter everything they put out! Use promo mewtwo against hitmonchan,
use magmar against scyther, and use sandshrew or hitmonchan to counter
'buzz.

Solution #2: Trainer Denial/Hand destruction
See solutions for wiggly.

Solutions for Rain Dance:

Solution #1: Electric pokemon
'Nuff said.

Solution #2: Hand destruction
See solutions for wiggly.

Solution #3: Aerodactyl
Stop those squirtles from evolving! Like the sound of that, huh?

Solution #4: (fossil) Muk!
How come no one uses this guy? HE ROCKS! His pokemon power is like
saying, "rain dance can't use rain dance!".

Solution #5: Goop Gas attack
EXPLOSIVE FLATULANCE! Actually, it stops pokemon powers for 1 turn. IT
ROCKS AGAINST RAIN DANCE!

Solution #6: Trainer Denial
See solutions for wiggly.

Now, here are 2 decks that use various ways to counter stuff.

Potpourri: uses many different kinds of pokemon to take advantage of
your opponent's weaknesses.

Pokemon: (14)
3 Electabuzz (base)
3 Machop (rocket)
3 Scyther (jungle)
2 Squirtle (rocket)
2 Ponyta (jungle)
1 Ditto (fossil)

Energy: (21)
4 Double Colorless
4 Full Heal Energy
4 Potion Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
5 Electric Energy

Trainers: (22)

3 Spy Tactics (dont quite remember the name.)
4 PlusPower
3 Gust of Wind
1 Item Finder

3 No Removal Gym (or whatever it's called)

The Trap: uses hand destruction to the extreme. Screws rain dance 10
times over, and is pretty good against other decks.

Pokemon: (12)
4 Electabuzz (base)
4 Rocket's Zapdos
4 Lt. Surge's Electabuzz lv28

(p.s. electabuzz and Lt. surge's electabuzz do NOT have the same name,
so you can use up to 4 of each in a deck.)

Energy: (16)
16 Electric

Trainers: (29)
4 Bill
4 Oak
4 Computer Search
4 Spy Tactics (yet again, don't quite remember the name)
4 Rocket's Trap
