BRIEF INTRO
Hey all you pokemon card game players out there! This article is about
the best electric pokemon card in the game exceptin rockets Zapdos.  As
most fossil fans know there are many incredibley strong pokemon in this
set. Luckily for us who are, fossil did not catch on nearly as much as
base and rocket. Pointing this out i will now begin the main focus.
Fossil raichu. this pokemon is incredible!It is a stage one with a
insane 90 hp and a retreat cost of one! for a stage one thats miraculus.
Its move giga shock is one of the best in all pkmn tcg!  with all the
haymakers with rocket alakazams put in this is a killer and an
eradicator when combined with plus power observe the reasoning.
                           BEST CASE SCENARIO
you have your powered up raichu and 4 plus power your opponent has an
electebuzz  active1 dark kadabra 1 hitmonchan benched along with one
scyther. attach all the + power and attack. electebuzz is knocked out so
is dark kadabra and scyther/ hitmonchan both are 20 away from a knock
out and another prize. If there were a dark alakazam instead or in
addititon it would only require 10 damage!
                               WORST CASE
You have a powered up raichu your opponent has a scyther active and a
bench full of a haymakers annoying classic 7o hp pokemon. Even though
your not going to have as many bench shock out knockouts youll have at
least 1 or 2 and after 4 gigaga shocks anything that comes out is one
hit for a knock out!
                                FOLLOW UP
You can see how raichu is a very dangerous opponent from which even the
bench is not safe. With luck it can be brought out as early as turn 2
with 90 hp and can attack on turn 4. even after it takes 80 damage you
only have to discard 1 ligtning energey to preserve the mouse of action.
Here are a few good cards to combo with especially against haymaker
raindance wiggly tuff and it will annialate rocket decks with their low
hp
TRAINER COMBOS
Pluspower: you can do incredible damage to their active and bench with
the 'chuster and your bench completely immune to its own power
Gust of Wind: after damageing their bench you cand bring the mildly
weekend up by the bench damage and nail the with 30 damage to knock them
out and knock out the ones unfortunate enough to have already felt the
30 shock a few times with the 10 damge to the bench its perfect!
POKEMON combos
fossil zapdos makes a great kamikazee. and against the haymaker boxer
hitmonchan it kills!
zapdos will kill it in 2 hits where as a frustrated hitmonchan would
need to use a whopping 8 special punches. even if zapdos kills itself
its thunderstorm makes it possible for the 'elecmouse to achieve a
double triple and i on many occasions even managed and quadroople knock
out!

dark electrode the suicide energey bobmer can power up raicchu and do
damage at the same time than can just be scooped up, fujiied, or
switched.

Raichu(F)
HP to Stage = 10 beaten only by gyrados but it balances out when you
factor in its basics power and raichus retreat
Retreat= 9.8 one energy for a pokemon that powerful and with that high
hp is great
Artwork= 10 cute speed hp and beat down usually only go to the ugly,
nice action pose
rarity= 10 fossil never reall caught on if you have the powerhouse
fossil rares no one will stand a chance!
attacks = 10,10,10! the best electric move more detail well be gone into
below
combos= 10 gust of wind as well as others make wide spread devastation a
fact. quad.kos!
versitility= 0 this is an all or nothing category with a basic to evolve
and a 4 en. attack you cant put it in a single color deck and throw in a
few lightning energy
total =58.2/60 a very awesome well rounded pokemon

Electebuzz
hp to stage= 9.5 although far from rare it is still great(-.5 for the
sheer amount of 70 hpbaasic and pkmn like chansey kagasakahn ect)
retreat= 5 hmm with only 70 hp and being an electric basic pokemon 2 is
costly(its the same as slowbro!!)
artwork= 0 this is an all or nothing too its the same official nintendo
artwork slapped down on a colored back round with a spark oo wow than
again most base are
rarity= 0  who dosent have an electebuzz that wants one? that * should
be a dot and unlike with fossil theres no element of surprise almost
every deck in the world has an electebuzz
attacks=0 i dont care what anyone says thunder punch isnt worth it all
it is is a base pikachus thunderjolt with a 10 damage bonus for not
shocking yourself ooh wow thunder shock isnt worth it either god just
use magnemite+defenders youll save a lot of money
combos=0 nothing you cant do for any pokemon pluspower
versatility=10 the only good thing is you can throw it and 3 L.en. in
any deck
total=24.5/60 the buzz over the buzz is retarded it dosent even do the
same amount of damaage if its tails and if it gets in a fix you have to
waste two energey to retreat the useless pokemon it is the most
unreliable pokemon that will lose a tornament and match if it comes down
to 1 prize each
base raichu
hp for stage=9.5 common but still hefty
rereat= 10 high hp low retreat great!
art= 0 official nin. artwork crappy yellow/green splashy mess
rarity=5 sort of rare but not that hard to come by
combos= 7 defender= thunder energeyandsuperenergy removel=agility
versitility=0 nothing special same as fossil
total 31.5/60
Overall summerey for each
Fossil raichu is in my opinion the best lightning because of the wide
spread damage and rare among lightning pokes theresno flip for bench
damage that can hurt you along with the rest of th reasons stated in
this article.Among the other 2 raichu base is the best although thunder
leaves you open for a ko after the damage starts to add up you can use
agillity to prevent furtherdamage or reep the benifit of its low retreat
cost.as for electebuzz hes a super opener but as soon as the stage ones
come out its obsolete its 2 energey retreat cost is a pain to pay so
early in the game and its thunderpunch is the most unreliable move ther
is for a final form but if your lucky with the coin i could see how you
could grow on the electric gorilla and before i get all kinds of emails
saying how im just a raichu lover who hates the buzz i alaways use him
on gb and n64
