Okay... when I read this article I thought the writer never heard of Wildifire, Turbo Tuff, or Professor Oak. Jeez... I think you should try the cards out first and then bash em. Excluding; Magikarp, Goldeen, Sleep!, Base Gastly.

Lets look at what he said:

Scyther........Ok....let me start by sayin that Scyther isnt a bad
card.....just overused. This guy DOES NOT belong in EVERY deck.. Besides, the
chances of gettin this guy fully powered by turn 2 or 3 is slim..You need,
scyther, a DCE and a grass (or other) energy..Sure it would be great to have
this in a first hand, but its unlikely.....sure there are ways to aquire
these cards....but you would need to obtain others..such as comp search,
energy search etc. Again! not very likely........

What the... another Scyther basher? It's funny.. I run a deck with only 2 Scythers and I managed to do 60 damage on turn 2, I had one Scyther as my only active, 2 DCE's in hand, 2 Grass, Oak, Comp Search, PlusPower. See? Usually I ALWAYS have a Grass and DCE in hand. If I don't I search it or Oak for it. He has a free retreat, good HP, and can kill Hitmonchans.

Articuno....this Bird is widely used in Raindance decks....sure hes
ok.......but hes far to energy intensive.....3 W energy for only 30 damage? Why
settle for that when you could use a Base Gyarados and get 50 damage for the
same price?? Plus Blizzard has the chance to help your opponent by hurtin
YOUR bench...sure its a 50% chance...but still....

I agree with you on this one, I don't really like any of the Articunos, one time I was facing a RainDance and I KO'd a Fossil Articuno with a Lickitung, I used PPowers. 

Moltres.....This guy wastes energy too..Yeah Wildfire can provide for a great
deck.(hahaha) in which the object is to deck your opponent....personally,
that wastes too much time....plus, you must consider that you need an
abundence of Fire energy for this deck to be successful...at least with the
Evil Psychic stalls no energy is required.....

Oh my god... *sighs* You don't have to use Wildfire!!! You can use Dive Bomb (dont reccomend it) Have you ever tried Wildfire??? I used to loooove Wildfire but I switched to this Confuse/Paralyze deck. I would use Wildfire in no-time-limit tourneys. But anyway, Wildfire rocks when it's against Speed decks. Oh yea, it can also beat Psychic Stall decks with no energy too. They can't attack em, and Chansey can just Double Edge away.

GOW.....Ok, yeah GOW lets you switch an opponents Active and Defending
Pokemon...big deal...sure its effective when your an Electabuzz and you opp.
is a Hitmonchan...but thats about all.

Holy @#$%.... what the...? I never thought ANYONE would bash Gust of Wind, it's probably because it's a common card and you don't like commons. You know what? It's also effective when you only have one prize left, zero cards in your deck, and a Chansey as active, you Gust of Wind the Charizard with 80 HP left and D-Edge it winning the game. There, happy?

Lapras....Also used in Raindance..he aint that bad..i mean he IS a
basic...but come on! 3 W energy for 30? Just like Articuno...and Confuse Ray?
Thats energy that should be on Blastoise.....

You wanna know why Lapras is in the deck? It's an Anti-Mime, and don't say, "No one uses Mimes anymore!"that's a bunch of crap. Lapras was the reason why I had to do Sudden Death in the Pre-Release tourney. Lapras may not look good, but a Confuse Ray + Water Gun is effective, really effective, I know.

Wigglytuff: This guy is like Scyther...everyone thinks they can get one FULLY
POWERED ON TURN 2!!!!!! Again slim chance of that happenin You Need Jiggly,
Wiggly a DCE and Another energy....yeah REAL good chance of that....(plus u
need a full bench...uh huh.and the likelyhood of u gettin a Challenge! aint
much better)

Hey, I know a way you can get your bench powered up, use Challenge if he declines it's like a free bill, and use Oaks, and Comp Searchs. What's that u say? It's almost impossible to get Challenge!? You know why I think I can get him powered on turn 2? Cuz it happens in almost every game I play using Turbo Tuff. When I use a Speed Deck, I love Speed, alot of Speed. By turn 2 my discard pile has like 25 cards in it. I used a Challenge 2 times with Item Finder drawing 4 cards and getting more bench Pokemon, I oaked and got more Pokemon, I used Comp Search and gotr more DCEs, I Billed and got more Pokemon, and won the game.

Underrated:

The Whole Golem Line: I dont understand why everyone hates these guys..they
arent that bad. (except for Geodude) Graveler Does a soild 40 damage for
1FF..not bad.....plus for FF he can stall for time against lower level
hitters. (gee he can resist damage from the ever popular HITMONCHAN AND
ELECTABUZZ) Golem does a whoppin 60 Damage for1FFF...he needs less energy
then Blastoise and does the Same amount of Damage!!.. Sure he only has 80 hp
and is a stage 2...so is Alakazam yet he is praised as one of the best
Pokemon in the game..why? All becuz of his Power...(im not sayin that Kazam
sux) thats unfair..course retreat of 4 is not good

.....?? Okay... if you read the card it says "During your opponent's next turn, whenever 30 or less damage is done to Graveler (after appyling Weakness n Resistance), prevent that damage. (Any other effects of Attacks still happen. So Hitmonchan can still do 40 damage to it, Scyther can KO it in one shot, and Electabuzz has a chance to KO it before it uses Rock Throw. Golem takes FOUR TURNS TO ATTACK!!! Read that, 4 TURNS!!! When Blastoise takes... 1 turn to attack doing lotsa damage. There are lots of Scythers out there, these guys stink against him. 

Poliwrath...This guy is one of the better Water Pokemon out there.yet people
ignore him..For 2WW he can act as an Energy Removal and deal a solid 40
damage thats pretty good why waste space with Removals when u could have him?
Plus a 50 damage Water Gun aint bad (sure its expensive but still good) 90 Hp
is solid plus not bein weak against Electabuzz is a plus.

It may not be weak to Elecuabuzz but it IS weak to Scyther, (don't give me that, "it's a colorless attack" crap.) He CAN do well in a Raindance but having more than 4 Stage 2 evolutions is crazy.

Nidoqueen...A real Powerhouse. 2GG for 50? No Coin flip? hey not bad at all.
A DCE would help her immensly 90 again solid...psy weakness...a weakness 3
retreat...Switch anyone??

Switch??? Switch isn't that hot, it is good with No Energy Stalls, but a Movie Mewtwo can KO it right away un turn 2 with a PPower. Its boyfriends attack is pretty good. But having lots of Stage 2s is crazy.

Snorlax....Why dont people like him? He is one of the best stallers in the
game.. His Power speaks for itself not bein affected by status changes? Thats
worth it right there...sure his attack is energy intensive and not very
powerful, but the possible Paralyze is ok.

.......k......he can still get hurt real bad, just because it can't be poisoned or confused or asleep or paralyzed doesn't mean that it can't be KO'd.
