Me: "Hello, this is Oak's Aide. I
doubt anyone remembers me, but I had a couple things posted back in Fall 2000,
and I feel like writing again. Anyways, my article is about exceptions to
the rule. My first exception to the rule is my rather stupid Machop.
Machops are supposed to be smart, but all mine does is listen to Kung Fu
Fighting all day. Anyway, my next exception is the evolution
rule. There are a few cards that can get around this. Promo Eevee,
Neo Eevee, and Giovanni all work. What I love is using Giovanni's Machoke
on turn one to do 60 damage. Having 4 different Eeveelutions on the first
turn is funny, too. One combo is to evolve Gio's Nidoran(m) to 'King 1st
turn and use threaten. Machop, why don't you introduce the next
one?"
(Machop stares at me dumbfounded, wondering why he
should. He then starts playing Kung Fu Fighting on the stereo,
dancing to the beat.)
Me: "Okay then, fine. The next topic
is energy. The main... Machop, stop that!"
(I turn to find that Machop has been making bunny ears behind
me.Everyone reading this[that means you] stifles
giggles.)
Me: "Okay, now that I have all of your
attentions back, we will move on to energy. The most popular card of this
sort, that is, cards that let you attatch multiple energys per turn, is Double
Colorless Energy. It is inseperable from Wigglytuff, and can be used for
all sorts of pokemon. Also popular are Blastoise and Meganium(Wild
Growth). Blastoise has been popular since the beginning, and Meganium
revived grass. Worthy of Honorable Mentions are Blaine and Base
Electrode. Now...
(Kung Fu Fighting record finally ended, and Machop is
getting very ticked about that...)
Me: I think I had better end this now,
before this situation gets out of hand. Help me come up with names for my
dumb Machop. Thanx a lot!
