Aerodactyl is the King of Halted Evolution laying waste to Rain Dance, Venusaur and Wiggly decks without a second thought.  But there are decks that can beat Aerodactyl, especially if you don't get him out fast enough or if the person has an Igglybuff shutting Prehistoric Power down.  But all that aside, there is a fun strategy to use with Aerodactyl and that's the underused Pokemon known as Pidgeot.  Just use Pidgeots Hurricane attack to take an evolved Pokemon and return it to the opponents hand and then they won't be able to evolve it again as long as Aerodactyl is out and if Igglybuff is Gazing the hell out of you just throw in some more Aerodactyl's and try to outnumber it.  That will suck for your opponent and you can use a nice big basic like Mewtwo or Hitmonchan to wipe out the new measly basic that takes its place.  Or just Pidgeot to finish it....won't they be the laughing stock...death by Pidgeot!  Ha ha  :)
