Hello everyone, I'm back
with an article on Proposition 15 or better known as "Prop 15".
Prop 15, for those who don't know yet, is a rule whereby you can only have
15 trainers in your deck.
Many Haymaker fans
gasp at this new rule and some of them even rant about that Prop 15 makes the
game less interesting. I do agree at this fact, since it comes to whichever
trainer that gets the Prof.Oak. But, then again, Prop 15 has let Clefable,
Rocket's Zapdos and many others to perform well in this rule.
Prop 15 also decreases
the amount of the Haymaker and Wiggly decks, since both of this decks are
highly trainer intensive. But then again, if Haymakers and Wiggly decks
are decreasing, how will another new archetype be born since archetypes
are born to counter one another.
Some you may say that
"Trapper" decks can defeat Haymakers and Wiggly decks. (For those
who don't know, Trapper decks are decks that concentrate on hand destruction.)
But Trapper decks also use a lot of trainers and thus Prop 15 is against them.
There ARE decks that can
comply with Prop 15. Some of them are even archetypes. (Who says archetypes
use a lot of trainers?) For example , the very old and unpopular
"Mulligan Mewtwo" deck. There are only 4 Mewtwos and 56 Psychic
energy in this deck. The strategy is to keep using barrier until your opponet
decks.
The last thing I am going
to say is that Prop 15 has it's own advantages and disadvantages and some of
them are listed above.
