Rain Dance has not been played alot lately. Here is a cool combo to
work with: Misty's Gyarados and Goop Gas Attack.
The cards:
Misty's Magikarp
30 HP
One Colorless energy: Play Dead.
Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all
effects of attacks, including damage, done to Misty's Magikarp.
One Colorless energy: Leap 10 damage.
Watch out for Rockets Zapdos. GOW wind bait.
Misty's Gyarados
100 HP
Pokemon Power: Rebellon
Whenever Misty's Gyarados attacks, flip 2 coins. If both of them are
tails, that attack does nothing. Instead, shuffle Misty's Gyarados and
all cards attached to it into your deck. (This power works even if
Misty's Gyarados is Confused.)
Four Water Enegies. Tidal Wave 70 damage.
In a good Rain Dance deck, you would want to build up Misty's Gyarados
on the bench. When active use Goop Gas Attack after you use Rain Dance.
So you don't have to worry about flipping coins. Tidal Wave will take
out any BBB and Mr Mine(his power is turn off too) you will need a plus
power for Wiggly. Weakness: Magikarp(need I say more). Misty's
Gyarados is weak against grass(Scyther)
it has a 100HP, so you should be able to take out several Pokemon before
it gets knock out. Watch out for removals and RSA. It's a fun combo
to
play with.
Try it out. Let me know what you think.
