Homemade Pokémon Cards - Part Two
Hello again! Kyouteki Amano here again, with installment two of the Moonseries TCG card set. Today we look at Kyouteki's Eevee and his evolutions. I've tried actually rating my cards this time (as if they were from a new set) so let's see how this works out.
Kyouteki's Eevee 40 HP
(C)
Gnaw - 10
(C)(C)
Take Down - 30 - Kyouteki's Eevee does 10 damage to itself.
Weakness - Fighting Resistance - Psychic (-30) Retreat -
(none)
This is a pretty basic Eevee, nothing
special here. This is needed for a springboard for all of Eevee's evolutions,
though...
Kyouteki's Vaporeon 60 HP Evolves
from Kyouteki's Eevee Kyouteki's Jolteon 70 HP
Evolves from Kyouteki's Eevee Ah...an Electric Pokémon with no Electric attacks! How
strange! Hey! It has a Grass-type attack? That's right! My Game Boy Jolteon
practically lives for this move. It deals a good amount of damage, and
you can always fall back on Bite in the event of ER or SER. Kyouteki's Flareon 60 HP
Evolves from Kyouteki's Eevee This Pokémon has some pretty dang high energy
requirements, but the attacks are powerful. The second one really spiked my
interest. To put this attack in an example, if Kyouteki's Flareon (with 2 damage
counters) is up against a Base Set Charmeleon with 5 damage counters, Intense
Rage would do 40 damage to Charmeleon and 20 to itself...but this powers Intense
Rage up even more, if you survive. Kyouteki's Umbreon 80 HP Evolves
from Kyouteki's Eevee Faint Attack gets past pesky things like Kyouteki's
Umbreon's own Shadow Ball. Shadow Ball, in turn, pumps up it's 80 HP even more!
Wow, maybe this card is too broken... Now, let's see if we can make a deck with one of these
and other "Kyouteki's" cards reviewed in the past, as well as real
cards. Espeon Invasion Trainers (18)
(W) Mist - Kyouteki's
Vaporeon and the Defending Pokémon are no longer Asleep, Confused, Paralized,
or Poisoned.
(W)(W)
Maniacal Headbutt - 40 - Kyouteki's Vaporeon is now Confused.
Weakness - Lightning Resistance - (none) Retreat -
(C)(C)
Kyouteki's Vaporeon has an Incredibly
powerful attack - Maniacal Headbutt. This attack does an incredible 40 for 2
water energy, along with Erika's Jigglypuff and Dark Slowbro. This, like the
others, has a setback - the Confusement. This, if you can pull it off, is easil!
y offset by Mist, Full Heal, Full
(C)(C)
Bite - 20
(G)(G)(G)
Pin Missile - 20x - Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the
number of heads.
Weakness - Lightning Resistance - (none) Retreat -
(C)
(F)(F) Ember - 40 - Discard
one (F) Energy card from Kyouteki's Flareon in order to
use this attack.
(F)(F)(F)(F)
Intense Rage - 20x - This attack does 20 damage times the number of Damage
Counters on Kyouteki's Flareon, then Kyouteki's Flareon does 10 damage to itself
for every 2 damage counters on the defending Pokémon. (round down)
Weakness - Water Resistance - (none) Retreat - (C)
Kyouteki's Espeon 70 HP Evolves from
Kyouteki's Eevee
