Hey Fellow Pojofans. This is Erik aka Smitty. Today I am
gonna discuss my views of the top 10 gym challenge cards.

10) Koga's Muk
This card is a great addition to any enegry denial deck. It's Pokemon Power,
Energy Drain, reads
If an opponent's attack does damage to koga's Muk (even if Koga's Muk is
knocked out) flip a coin, if heads and if the defending Pokemon has any
energy cards attched, choose 1 energy attached to the defending Pokemon and
discard it. This power cant be used if Koga's muk is already asleep,
confused, paralyzed when your opponent attacks.
That a bit flip dependent but it is great!

9) Brock's protection
This card only affect's brock's pokemon but it is great! it has two great
things going for it.  Brock uses a lot of fighting Pokemom and some great
fire pokemon such as Brock's ninetales.  Second enery removal effects are
really nasty and lot's of people use them.  So a deck with lot's of brock's
fighting Pokemon combined with brock's protection to make sure those Pokemon
keep energy attached will be really strong.

8) Sabrina's gengar
It has 90 hit points, no weakness, and resistance to fighting.Plus it's
shadow bing attack needs 3 energy to use and it does 40 damage and keeps the
defending pokemon from retreating on your opponent's next turn. But the best
part of Sabrina's Gengar is dark wave.  you only need 2 energy to do 20
damage and shut down all Pokemon powers until the end of your oppoonet's
turn, So u can use your powers on your turn and then shut down all of them on
your opponent's turn. Pretty cool huh?

7) Koga
Even though it only affects Koga's Pokemon it's great! this card always
poisons apokemon (with no flip) when you attack with your pokemon that have
Koga in it's name. This only work's on the turn you play Koga though. It's a
PlusPower for Koga's pokemon and will do better if your opponent cant heal
his or her active Pokemon right away.  If you've ever played against a Poison
deck, you know how nasty poison is.

6) Brock's ninetales
This card is like a permenent pokemon breeder. It's Shapeshift Pokemon Power
allows you to put any evolution card on Brock's ninetales ans use that
pokemon as though you played it normally except, you can use the evolutions
Pokemon powers. This works well with Misty's Gyarados.

5) Sabrina's Alakazam
This pokemon can have up to 6 attacks at once (if your bench is full of
Psychics) It's Psylink Pokemon Power gives Sabrina's Alakazam a copy of every
attack of the Psychics you have in play. The possibilities with Sabrina's
Alakzam are only limited by what Pokemon you have in your deck.

4) Master Ball
One of the biggest problems with trainer cars is that you almost always have
to discard some cards. Master Ball is different. You can look at the top 7
cards from your deck and take the best Pokemon there and shuffle the rest
back into your deck. The only card u r discarding is Master Ball. This trainer
is a must for decks with los of Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon.

3) Misty's tears
This is the Gym Card everyone has been waiting for.  Sporting a new image but
the same effect as the Japenese version. This trainer card will be a big help
to Water players especially Rain Dance.  Misty's tears allows you to discard
a card to get two water enegry from your deck. Blastoise power then let's you
put those energy right onto Pokemon. This one-two punch will send rain Dance
to a lot of victories in the coming year.

2) Misty's Psyduck
just like Psyduck in the animated tv show you never will know what will
happen with theis Gym Challenge Card. But it always should do something good.
It's ESP attack only requires 1 psychic energy and you flip 3 coins to
determine the effect.  one heads lets you draw a card, 2 heads lets you do 20
damage and 3 heads lets you copy an attack from the defending Pokemon and
keep it the whole game. the only time u wont be happy is if you flip no heads
(HOW RARELY WILL THAT HAPPEN?) or if you flip 3 heads and the defending
pokemon has bad attacks. This card also has 60 HP, so it will stick around a
while.

1) Rocket's Zapdos
I think the is the best card in this set. First, Rocket's Zapdos is a basic
Pokemon with 70 HP. Second it's Plasma attack does 20 damage for i lightning
energy, plus if there is any lightning energy in your discard pile, you pick
one and attach it to Rocket's Zapdos. After you buil up energy you can use
Rocket's Zapdos Electroburn attack. It does 70 damage (if you don't mind
Rocket's Zapdos taking some damage) If that's not enough to make this card
LEGENDARY it has no weakness and resistance to fighting. The most damage it
can do to itself with Electroburn is 40.

There you go folks!
