Many of you trainers think you have the mightiest deck just
because you have over 10 star cards (not counting star trainer cards).
You will never be good at the pokemon TCG this way. If
you happen to use the right star cards you might be able to beat a
few trainers, but you will stink if you hide behind those star cards too much
(you guys are crazy with all those star cards, who can afford all those
cars!?).
Star cards are not the key to victory. Hiding behind
all those star cards just shows how inexperienced you are. It takes much
thinking to chose the right pokemon and the right trainers because I know.
Every time I lose a match I spend about 30 minutes just to improve my deck.
The key to victory is strategy not just putting the most
powerful pokemon in your decks. Say if you were going to use Grass and
Electric types, you should have a strategy such as poison and paralyzing
the opponent and add a few pluspowers to do more damage while they're
paralyzed or poisined.
Victory Tips-
Use a strategy in your deck.
If most of your Electric types paralyze opponents then put more pokemon that
paralyze. If you like Normals that do good damage, then put pokemon that
can cause a lot of damage will low energy.
There are many other tips out there and it is up to you to
decide which ones to use. There are many paths to victory and many do
not involve the most star pokemon.
Whoever reads this please take my challenge:
Every time you send a deck building tip use up to 5 star
pokemon cards 3 star trainer cards and no more than 3 promos.
Thanks for reading.
