I didnt really know what section to send this to but i
have something that i would like you to consider.
First I want you to notice something about all the
"killer decks".  They almost all have energy removals,
and quite a lot of them.  The point is, energy
removals are for ROOKIES!!!!!  Let me explain.  When i
first got into this game I didnt really know about
these cards, one day I played my friend and he had
loade his deck with removals.  He royally wooped my
ass.  The problem was that every damn time I was ready
to attack it was "discard that energy" and then i'd be
left sitting there with only enough energy to do wussy
attacks with my basics.  You see anybody can take a
deck with any combo of crappy pokemon and if they
start the game with even a few or alot of removals
they get the upper hand way to fast and it can be over
from there.  And ive seen that in the killer decks
that not to many people use alot of stage two's most
likely cuz of the energy they require.  See when you
have the big guys like Venasaur and poliwrath, things
like that, you worry about the energy consumption.
This is what kept and my freinds from using alot of
stage two's, cuz we knew from experiance that these
guys will get beat down and killed when these
god-forsaken removals take all thier energy away.  The
worst part is that any rookie's pros or just complete
idiots can take a deck and throw in the removals and
then its just a slow long game of who can bust out the
removals first and fastest.  And whoever can get this
done can just get those first attacks in while the
other player has to spend 1-3 turns putting his energy
back on his guy  which by then is to late.  All that
these removals do is just slow the game down to
painful and boring proccess of removing energy. And
each player gets set back to many turns trying to
catch up.  I dare you people reading this to take your
friends and play games without using these trainers.
It will be so much more fun not thinking to yourself
"boy, one more energy and i can bust out this awsome
attack.  I hope my opponent doesnt removal me and I
wast more turns just to put out more energy."  The
game will be so much more fun, trust me, just try it.
Entire knew stratagies will open up to and all those
big evolved pokemon you never got a chance to use
before will be active and actually have the
oppurtunity to do things.  And like ive said before
any idiot can put removals in his deck.  There is no
strategy at all, anyone can do it.  All they will have
to do is get them out first and destroy your energy,
no strategy, just pathetic play.  Also think about
this, in the entire pokemon universe there is nothing
that ever denied your attacks like this.  In the
gameboy games there were no items that took away your
opponents pp, or other attacks that did that.  In the
cartoon and movies there is nothing resembling that.
