*Note: In this article, it will simply be a full review of HOW
to BEAT the Haymaker.
The Haymaker. The most used deck in all of the world, also
the most easiest strategized deck to use. Now, even though Haymaker
players with no strategies can demolish people with good strategies, the rest
of the world has to learn how to show the Haymaker people that an original
complicated strategy is MUCH better than the haymaker strategy which can be
done by EVERYONE for a reason, I consider it a beginner's step in deck
building, where he simply takes out a few of the Haymaker pokemon, and uses
one or two of the colors and adds a good evolution, makes a combo with the
evolution, and WHAM, you got a REAL deck. =)

Strategy:
Beefy Basics with one energy wonders. No strategy needed,
the beginner's deck.

Here is a listing of all the pokemon widely used in Haymakers:
Hitmonchan Electabuzz
Scyther
Lapras Fossil
Magmar Promo Mewtwo
Aerodactyl Hitmonlee Ditto
The last two and Lapras aren't the most popular, but they DO
pop up with a BIT of strategy behind them.
Trainers:
A complete listing of the trainers that focus on speed, and
maximizing the attacks of the pokemon by using weakness, and to stay alive.

Energy Removal ( Super Version )
Energy:
REALLY shabby energy
approximately 18-24 for a LOW Haymaker.

Strategy:
Well, no specific pokemon threatens the Haymaker
Strategy......except for the Promo Mewtwo.....Kinda
Pokemon:
Now, the thing with Haymaker, is it relies heavily on the
Weakness factor, so you have to counter THEIR weaknesses. The sad thing
is, the best thing to beat a Haymaker, is anothe Haymaker that can retreat
easier, OR a good strategized deck. =)
These pokemon also have low attack power, so Defender will stop
them in their tracks until they can beef up to those higher attacks.
Remember, these things have NO regard for ER
Trainers:
The Haymaker can easily stop you with its removals, and the
Haymaker is also VERY dependent on trainers, and if you stop its trainers and
remove about 4-5 energy, they're screwed.....an Omanyte deck is an excellent
Anti-Hay. So, Lass them often, if you have
3-4 Lasses in your deck, use them when they have 4+ cards in
their hand, or if they're holding onto a few cards for a long time. If
you take their Oak from them, they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
Energy:
Here's where it stops. Most people think Haymaker is NOT
vulnerable to Energy Denial, and yes this is true, but actually, a stall deck
can't RIP haymaker apart, but sure can annoy it =) See, if you remove
their energy from their LOW amount of energy eventually, you will wear them
bone DRY of energy. This way, they'll be FORCED to Oak and Bill like
CRAZY......and if you constructed your Denial good enough, you'll be able to
bring back your ER into the late game, and once they've Oaked 3 times, you're
ready to stall for about 7 turns, and you've just about won. Also, you
can't pull this off without Defenders, or else they'll take out the basics in
the beginning, or maybe you can stick 4 Chansey in there, and sacrifice it in
the beginning to get into position, as according to Pie's Pokémon Tag, and
yes, MANY people have thought of that, but Pie wrote it for all the people who
don't know =) It really is a great strategy, just not too hard to think
of, and the Ideal sacrifice is usually just a staller.
This is my review of Gaymakers.....oops...puhahahhahaha
