Over the next few weeks I am going to review every single energy/color type
this week It's gonna be lightning.

Lighning pokemon

Electrode base/ jungle
Electabuzz
Voltorb
Zapdos fossil/basic
Pikachu movie promo/jungle/base
Raichu base/fossil
Magnemite
Megneton base/fossil

Here is a buncha suicidal killers.
First we are gonna give the awards then the picking apart of lightning pokemon.

Most suicidal: Magneton

Weakest Hp: tie pikachu(base) Voltorb Magnemite

Most Hp; Zapdos (base) Electrode (Jungle)

The quickest most powerful: Pikachu movie

The most powerful long term:  Electabuzz

The best Poke Power: Face it it's the only one: Electrode

Bench destroyer:  Zapdos (fossil)

THE BEST;  Electabuzz

This is the one of the most unused (beside fire) energies.  One of the main
resons: suicidal effects and weakness to fighting.  The resistant to
fighting is easier to over come.  Every type has a resistant to fighting.
Suicidal effects come in small packages.  The only ones to not in some way
hurt themselves is Pikachu (promo) Electrode (jungle) and lastly Voltorb.
Now lets see how it effects against the three main decks.

Haymaker:  Most of Electric is not fast enough the only one fast enough and
that does enough damage to do anything is Electabuzz.  Of course E'buzz is
part of Haymaker.

Raindance:  This is the best deck that electric could go against.  Most
pokemon except Garydose(spelling) is weak to electric the main part of
raindance (blastoise) can be killed in one hit with base Electrode.

Damage Swap:  The only card that can over power a damage swap is base
Zapdos with so much damage going on it could over power the stalling damage
swap

Now lastly the overrall rating of electric on a scale of 1-10
Long term (able to withstand throughout game)  3.0
Short term(able to withstand short match)           7.0
Hitting ability:(power to remove hp quickly)         5.5
Hp ( able to withstand many hits)                        7.9
Decks( ability to match against the THREE)       4.0
Retreat ( easy to retreat)                                     3.0
