I am using my Idea in a deck this time. This
deck uses Charizard,
Venusaur, and Mewtwo for its strategy.
3 Promo Mewtwo
4 Charmander
1 Charmeleon
3 Charizard
4 Bulbasaur
1 Ivysaur
4 Venusaur
Pokemon-20
17 Grass
7 Psychic
Energy-24
4 Professor Oak
4 Pokemon Breeder
2 Switch
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Mr. Fuji
2 Scoop Up
Trainers-16
First of all this deck main strategy is get tons of Energy out at
once.
If it can't get that energy it will definitely lose.
The goal of this deck is to get Mewtwo as your active pokemon and
have
Venusaur and Charizard on your bench. Use Mewtwos Energy Absorbtion and grab
all the grass energy you can. Then Transfer it to Venusaur or Charizard and
"lay down the smack"!!
Probably the biggest problem is getting the cards you need. Thats
why I
put in a ton of Professor Oaks. Since this deck doesn't require most of the
trainers to succeed it is usually safe to use Professor Oak. Also you'll
need something to discard a lot of energys at once.
There are more Venusaurs than Charizards in the deck because you'll
need
Venusaur more to function this deck. This is mainly since you can attack
easier with Venusaur. Example Charizard vs. Myterios Fossil.
As far as Mewtwo his only function in this deck is getting more
energy
for your big hitters and Scooping him up. If you run into Muk or Aerodactyl
you should attack with Mewtwo( actually you should attack with Charmander
too).
If you run into Mr. Mime you should use Bulbasaurs Leech Seed
attack.
This renders Mr. Mime almost helpless.
As far as speed this deck may not be that fast since it takes time
to
power up.( I mean like 5+ turns)So it could easily fall to a Haymaker.
Also Ivysaur and Charmeleon are in here if you run into Mew and
Charmeleon isn't a bad attacker. (Ivysaurs Poison powder can do good too)
I have never tried this deck because I don't have the resorces.
