Yo! Pojo! I read your mag. and just had to check out the site. I have been to a lot of tourneys and have noticed the wide use of Haymakers, Raindance, Potpourri, etc., etc., etc. These are the archtypes, good decks copied by others who haven't a sense of strategy whatsoever(even though these decks are usually the only kinds that stand a chance.) Well, these decks should only be used once in a while, when you just feel like totally beating someone into submission. On the other hand, you could have a strategy to your deck, and have fun playing. Here is how I believe is the best way to make a deck:
    1. Start with a Pokemon that you like. Don't make the Pokemon Gastly or Geodude, but a Pokemon taht appeals to you and that has good potential. If you start by choosing...say...Psychic Pokemon in general, you'll probably end up throwing some Pokemon together, and sending it to a deck mechanic when you can't figure out what's wrong.
    2. Build the deck according to your strategy, by adding cards that go along with it, like Pokemon Breeders or Energy Removals.
    3. In the end, fill the rest up with energy cars. Take out unnecessary cards and put in about 2 less energy than your deck actually needs, going no less than 18.
This is my strategy on building a deck. Try it and trust me, if you want to have fun, then put in Pokemon you enjoy, but be sure that the card has potential, and test it against friends first.
Please post this Pojo.
