Ok, I just felt I had to share this with the rest of the Pokémon world, it
has won/lost me many a game. Very few people realize that:

OK, that's out of my system. Anyway, what do I mean by that? I mean that you
don't need to keep a card in your hand just because it's all shiny. What
good is that Gyarados if your opp.'s wiped out all your 'Karps? Only thing
it's good for is that it makes excellent CPU Search fodder. Don't be afraid
to Oak if you have a Charizard in your hand. Charmanders in the discard pile
don't evolve well at all. Get my point? Even with Basics: What would be
better, to eventually play Mewtwo on the table or Trader it away to let your
fully pumped Abra evolve and get your last prize this turn? Is the shine in
your eyes messing up your brain? All I'm saying is not to be afraid to
sacrifice holos in useless or desperate situations.
