ORBIT OF PLANET EARTH
TRANSMISSION BEGINS
SATOSHI: Hey, all you crazy poke-people. I'm here in the Pokemon Space
Station's Pokemon TCG Laboratory with an urgent message about counterfiet
cards.
How many times have you seen a little kid with a stack of cards that
were all counterfiet? Sad, really. These kids will do anything to get 'em,
so they don't bother to check and see if they're authentic. Here's a quick
list of ways to see if you've got the real deal whne it comes to cards-
1-The Light Test
Ah, yes, the faithful Light Test. Hold the card up to a light
source. If you can see through the card, it's fake. Usually, on the fake
cards, the card stock is lighter so you can make out the poke ball symbol on
the back of the card.
2-The Snap
Hold the card with your first and third fingers on the front and
your middle finger on the back. Now, use your thumb to lightly flick the top
of the card. If the card doesn't produce a loud snapping sound, then it's
fake. Also, counterfiet cards tend to be lighter and/or smaller than the
real thing.
3-The Blur
Look at the bottom of the card, where the copyright information is.
If the writing appears blurry or is non-existent, it's fake.
These are just a few of the ways to tell if you've got the real
thing. Parents, make sure when you buy the cards for your children, they
come packaged in one of the following;
1-A 60-card deck box
-OR-
2-An 11-card foil pack
Remember: the Pokemon cards ONLY
COME IN THE ABOVE PACKAGES!
Well, I hope this helps. I gotta get back to the control room now.
C'ya later!
