This idea hit me while I was opening my
first pack of NEO: Genesis cards. Ariados+Piloswine+Dark Vileplume+Aerodactyl.
If you think about it, you discover that this a winning combo. Let me explain
why.
First, let's look at the parts of the cards
work together.
Ariados:
Spider Web- It may be flip dependent, but the result of a heads flip keeps the
opponent from retreating not just for one turn, but until
it's benched or evolved. How do you keep this from happening? Keep
reading.....
Aerodactyl:
The obvious reason: to keep the opponent from evolving. But what about goop
gas attack? Again, keep reading.......
Dark
Vileplume: The supreme defence against goop gas and cards like
switch and double gust. But what about
K.O.s? Once more, keep
reading........
Piloswine:
Freeze- again, a bit flip dependent, but with a heads flip, this attack
is the last piece of the puzzle. With it, your
opponent is a sitting duck. With no way to reteat or attack, that pokemon is
as good as gone.
Now there is only one pokemon that might
stop this killer combo, and that is Fossil Muk. Since this combo is 50%
dependent on Pokemon powers, Muk can be a destructive opposition. Your only
defence would be to get out your Aerodactyl before they can get their Muk.
There you have it, my killer combo is now
yours. If you can think of anything I could do to make this idea better, please
