Hey hey Pojoholics! Neo: Genesis is out, and that means...time for a review.
I will give each card a rating 1-10, 1 being lowest, 10 being highest.

Here we go!

Ampharos: This guy is sorta like a cheaper Fossil Raichu. He deals bench
damage, can paralyze, and deals 40 damage to the Def. Pokemon. This guy might
be better than that Raichu.
Rating: 8

Azumarril: This guy resembles Ampharos. 3 colored energy, for bench damage
and paralysis. Only difference is he only does 30 damage to the defending
Pokemon. Not too bad here
Rating: 7.8

Bellossom: Only 70 Hp for a stage 2?? Ouch. Sweet Nectar is a good attack.
When you get heads. Otherwise, not much special here.
Rating: 5

Feraligatr (level 56): What a powerhouse. Berserk can possibly harm your
opponent, and Chomp will do a minimun of 50 damage, with good chances of
more. 100 Hp is always good
Rating: 8

Feraligatr (level 69) And I thought the first Gatr was good! Downpour may
seem like a senseless power at first, but look closely at Riptide. Not only
do you do 10 damage for each W energy in the discard, but you get to shuffle
that energy BACK into your deck.  Someone told me about a "reverse Raindance"
deck based on this guy. I think it would be a "Infinite Reverse Raindance"
Rating: 9.8

Heracross: We go from the good to the bad. While being able to deal ALOT of
damage, a tails on the flip and you've got nothing. And for GGG too?? Man..
Rating: 4

Jumpluff: Another 70 Hp 2nd stage?? What were they thinking?? But this
Pokemon isnt as bad as first thought. 2 attacks, both doing 20 damage. One
causes sleep, the other heals itself. Oh yea, both attacks only cost G.
Rating: 7.9

Kingdra: This is the card water decks need. NO WEAKNESS!  A water deck with
him, need not fear of Buzz or Scyther. Agility is great, and Dragon Tornado
is the best GOW you could ask for.
Rating: 9.5

Lugia: Ahh well.. Lugia certainly packs the power, but at a very odd cost
Rating: 7.6

Meganium (level 54): Nice here. Herbal Scent, though being a one-time shot,
is great for healing those hurt Pokemon. Body Slam is decent. 100 Hp is
always good.
Rating: 7.7

Meganium (level 57): Even better with the 2nd one. Wild Growth helps  a
mono-grass deck tremendously. Soothing Scent is great for slowing down a
fast-paced assault
Rating: 8.7

Pichu: Not bad against a deck where Pokemon Powers are prevelant. Otherwise
use as a stall..?
Rating: 4

Skarmory: Ok so maybe 60 Hp doesnt sound too good for you..but with a closer
look at Steel Wing, you'll see a built-in Defender with a heads. Not the best
Metal Pokemon, but not the worst
Rating: 6

Slowking: Sorta like Chaos Gym, but not as effective. Same basic effect, but
the card goes to their deck. So your opponent has a chance to reuse the card.
Mind Blast expensive for the damage dealt.
Rating: 5

Steelix: This guy has it all. 110 Hp, resistence to Grass (take THAT
Scyther!) and a Colorless attack. This guy is nothing fancy, just raw power.
Even more so with a Metal energy on him-Tail Crush can do 50 damage. Of
course 4 retreat sucks more than a vaccum.
Rating: 8

Togetic: A 60 Hp stage 1??? Ouch. But when you consider its ability with
Super Metronome and Fly that 60 Hp doesnt look THAT bad....
Rating: 6.5

Typhlosion(Level 55): Most people will probably claim this Typhlosion to be
the better one. Lets see, 100 Hp is good. Fire Recharge is great,
no-questions asked Power (except for why is there a flip for it?) Flame Burst
is quite powerful. With exceptions, you might want Tails more than Heads with
him.
Rating: 9

Typhlosion(level 57): Ahh another Typhlosion. Another 100 Hp and another
Pokemon Power. This one needs a lot...and I do mean A LOT more strategy to be
played effectively than the previous Typhlosion. Fire Boost lets you POSSIBLY
attach up to 4 R energy to Typhlosion. Only once (when played from your hand)
and ONLY with a Heads on the flip. You sure need it, because Flame Wheel
devours energy. For 4 R (3 of which are discarded) you get 80 damage to the
defending Pokemon and 20 damage to each Benched Pokemon.  Play with caution
or Extreme Strategy. If only this were BLAINE'S Typhlosion...
Rating: 7.5

Metal Energy: When attached to a Steel Pokemon, this card ROX!
Rating:9

Cleffa: The reusable Oak. Part Staller too.
Rating: 6

Donphan: This guy has shades of Dark Alakazam here..the Hit & Run theme is
present with this guy..and he does damage enough to escape the Resistence
barrier..albeit not by much though
Rating: 7

Elekid: Probably the better Baby Pokemon, as Playful Punch can be used from
the bench, seeing as its a Pokemon Power instead of an attack.
Rating: 6

Magby: Like a reusable Goop Gas. With damage!
Rating: 5

Murkrow: Hm. A Dark pokemon. This guy is probably best used in a Poison
deck-Poison, then send him out with Mean Look. Maybe. Maybe not.
Rating: 5.5

Sneasal: Another Dark pokemon. And man can this guy administer a beating!
Beat Up is great for putting the hurting on the opposition. Good with
Challenge!
Rating: 7

Aipom: Four words- New Age Damage Swap
Rating: 6

Ariados: This guy has Bite. And a nice Bite at that. Poison Bite not only
Poisons the def. Pokemon, but heal Ariados too. Use PlusPower to maximize
healing powers.
Rating: 6.5

Bayleef (level 22) This guy does double duty-he Poisons and prevents Poison.
And Sleep, Confusion and Paralysis!
Rating: 8

Bayleef (level 39): A real Double-Edged sword here. Sweet Scent can either
help immensely, or backfire immensely. Double Razor Leaf can do up to 80
damage. Nice nonetheless
Rating: 7.5

Clefairy: If you play Clefable, this Clefairy is for you. 50 Hp may not be
much better, but its attacks are. Sorta.
Rating: 5

Croconaw (level 34) Screech not bad for tacking on 20 more damage (more with
PP) Jaw Clamp can keep those annoying Scyther in place. In this case,
however, thats NOT a good thing. Keep non-Scythers in place with him.
Rating: 7

Croconaw (level 41) Pokedex has a new use with this guy. Sweep Away is
powerful, yet you discard 3 cards from your deck. Make sure they aren't that
important with the Dex first
Rating: 6.5

Electabuzz: Only good cuz of colorless attacks
Rating: 5

Flaaffy: Discharge not bad with some heads. Electric current sux. Plain and
simple.
Rating: 5.4

Furret: Ho-hum. Slam and Q. Attack are overdone. Not that powerful either. 60
Hp doesnt help.
Rating: 5

Gloom: This Gloom is probably the best one yet. Strange Powder has a
guaranteed status change. And Sticky Nectar keeps the def. pokemon in place.
As long as Gloom stays active.
Rating: 7.5

Granbull: Not even worth it. Too many "Rage" type attacks as it is now.
Rating: 5

Lanturn: The first electric Pokemon to benefit from W energy. Keep tacking on
the W and watch Floodlight's power grow!
Rating: 7

Ledian: Hit-and-Run gets more power with this guy. do 30 damage, then swap
all G energy with another G pokemon on the bench and THEN swap the Poke's.
Best of all, NO FLIP!!
Rating: 8

Magmar: Two words-Colorless Attack
Rating: 6.7

Miltank: Maybe one of the better self-healers. Although flip heavy, Milk
Drink can keep him rolling for a while. Maybe
Rating: 6

Noctowl: The infinite RSA. With a flip. Not bad here
Rating: 6.5

Phanpy: Horrible. Get Donphan fast if you use him.
Rating: 2

Piloswine: Not bad for stopping heavy hitters. Or anyone for that matter.
Blizzard average.
Rating: 6.5

Quagsire: Got some power here. 3 for WW and 60 for 2FF. Only problem is
different colors. Play in a water/fight deck for maximum playing ability
Rating: 7

Quilava (level 28): Ember is overdone. Fire Wind could make for some
interesting bench damage.
Rating: 5.6

Quilava (level 35) This is the good one. Smokescreen good of course. Char
adds a new aspect to the game. Similar to Burn on the GB games. Nice damage,
and a new status effect.
Rating: 7.8

Seadra: 10 more Hp than fossil..worse attacks. Jury? Jury? Jury is out on
him...

Skiploom: Cheap attacks here. Cheap damage too. Status changes help nicely
though
Rating: 5.5

Sunflora:  Verry similiar to Vileplume here....30 times 3 heads...confusion..
Rating: 6

Togepi: Not the worst basic created...maybe not the best either. Poison is
nice though..
Rating: 4

Xatu: The average Psychic. Prophecy can mess around with your opponent
though...sorta
Rating: 6

Chikorita (level 12): Kinda average here. Tackle is the norm, while Deflector
is ok.
Rating: 4.5

Chikorita (level 19) Growl is ok here...Razor Leaf cheap and effective
Rating: 5

Chinchou: This guy sux too....Lanturn is kinda cool though.
Rating: 4.5

Cyndaquil (level 14) Ugh. Leer isnt worth it, while Swift is average. 40 Hp
blows
Rating: 4.5

Cyndaquil (level 21) Fireworks is a fast attack, yet the possible discard
sux. Quick Attack average
Rating: 5

Girafarig: A psychic Pokemon with Agility..interesting. Psybeam is average.
Rating: 5.6

Gligar: A fighter with Poison...even more interesting. But he's kinda weak
here....
Rating: 5

Hoothoot: Insta-Sleep is pretty good. Not bad for a basic.
Rating: 5.5

Hoppip: Boring....next!
Rating: 4

Horsea: I think fossil was better. Sure only 40 hp..but the Smokescreen is
good.
Rating: 5

Ledyba: A much cheaper Comet Punch..half the energy, for half the damage. But
apply weakness and BOOM!
Rating: 5.6

Mantine: Nothing special here. Prevent damage..whoo hoo. Been there done that
Rating: 5

Mareep: Possibly one of the few Electric Pokemon that can't hurt itself. But
with 40 Hp...to quote The People's Champion....IT DOESN'T MATTER!
Rating: 4

Marrill: Another weak 40 Hp basic?? Ugh. At least Bubble Bomb does decent
damage, and can paralyze.
Rating: 4.5

Natu: Probably the weakest basic of the set. A mere 30 Hp, and a 20 for PP
attack. It won't live that long to even bother.
Rating: 3

Oddish: Right back to the 40 Hp basics. At least he can heal himself. Worth
playing with if you like the Gloom mentioned earlier
Rating: 4.9

Onix: Does WoTC LIKE screwing up Onix cards? They must cuz this one is
horrible like the rest. 60 Hp and  Rage attack. What a terrible combo. The
only Onix you should even bother with is Brock's level 41 from GH.
Rating: 4

Pikachu: Not too shabby here. Probably the best one. Slap down DCE first turn
for Quick Attack, then add L and add Base Raichu for his cheaper
Agility...splashable too.
Rating: 5.4

Sentret: Just bad. Not worth playing since Furret is horrible.
Rating: 3

Shuckle: Just another horrible basic. Sure you could stall with Withdraw, but
if you want to do that, base Wartortle is alot better.
Rating: 3.5

Slowpoke: Ahh....well....next card please
Rating: 4

Snubbull: So Roar acts like a GOW. And I do the damage BEFORE i swap them
right? Ok. Just one question...what damage???
Rating: With WoTC screw-up:3
WIthout WoTC Screw-up: 4.5

Spinarak:Back to the 40 Hp basics...at least he can stop your opponent from
doing anything. WIth a heads of course.
Rating: 4

Stantler: Kinda like a New Age Tauros. The Confusion is nice though.
Rating: 5.2

Sudowoodo: Fail really doesn't help here...not with only 60 Hp. Rock Throw
cheap. And he's weak to water! Not Grass!
Rating: 5

Sunkern: Give this guy about 20 More HP and he's great
Rating: 4

Swinub: Simple, but effective
Rating: 4.6

Totodile (level 13): Another 40 Hp Pokemon. And with a RAGE ATTACK??? Don't
bother with Rage. Bite will do if you use him.

Totodile (level 20) Much better. Sure only 50 Hp, but leer and Fury Swipes
are MUCH better than the last 'Dile's attacks.

Wooper: Amnesia good for only one attack Pokemon. Or Scyther. Slam is decent.
Rating: 5

Arcade Game: Considering you get shuffle the cards back into your deck, not a
bad card. Pokedex gets more uses.
Rating: 5.6

Ecogym: Probably one of the most anticipated cards ever. Cards like
Charizard, Blaine's Arcanine and the Typhlosion of this set (the one with
Flame Wheel) will benefit the most. Not that everyone won't.
Rating: 9

Energy Charge: FINALLY! A way to get back those DCE, Metal or Darkness
energy. Would be 10 if not for the flip
Rating: 9.5

Focus Band: They have good intentions here. And conisdering it doesn't always
work in the game, the flip is fine here.
Rating: 7

Mary: Why bother when you have Bill, Erika? Well it will help prevent
decking. Thats a plus
Rating: 6

Pokegear: Good....except for that no More trainers this turn rule.
Rating: 5.6

Super Energy Retrieval: Nice here. No real drawback
Rating: 8

Time Capsule: Another one of those double-edged sword cards. If you are near
decking, this card is perfect.
Rating: 7

Bill's Teleporter: You could just play two Bills. Not bad if you REALLY need
alot of cards fast. Or if you have 4 Bills already
Rating:6

Card-Flip Game: Another way to get cards if you dont have any more Bills
Rating: 5

Gold Berry: Better than Super Potion. Works when you need it.
Rating: 8

Miricle Berry: Same as GB. Only better than Full Heal
Rating: 8

New Pokedex: Ok I guess. Does the same as the old, only with a deck shuffle.
Good if you're not getting  the cards you need
Rating: 7

Professor Elm: I don't care what anyone says, this guy isn't bad. Shuffle
your hand back instead of discard it. Good for a stall deck more than likely

Rating: 7

Sprout Tower: Another highly anticipated card. Colorless resistance? Take
that Wiggly!
Rating: 10

Super Scoop Up: Don't even bother. Mr Fuji does the same thing WITHOUT the
flip. Sure its only for benched pokemon, but still is better than this card..
Rating: 4

Berry: You get the idea...better than potion, etc etc.
Rating: 7

Double Gust: Double-Edged sword time again. Could make or break your game
Rating: 5

Moo-Moo Milk: Not bad, but with Gold Berry and Super Potion why bother??
Rating: 6

Pokemon March: A simpler Challenge!
Rating: 4

Super Rod: A guaranteed Pokemon. It all depends on the flip
Rating: 7

Recycle Energy: With Ecogym, I wouldn't bother with it.
Rating: 5

Darkness Energy: An infinite Pluspower. Not bad here. Use only on D pokemon
if you can
Rating: 9

Whew. That was long. Took me 3 days to write. Hope you liked it.
