Yo, wasup?
I was looking through my binder and saw the following commons. They look like they COULD see more play. I will be rating the cards.
 
1. Sabrina's Jynx
Looks like Haymaker material to me. Guarunteed status effects early in the game. Even the attack Good Morning cancels Sleep, your opponent, half the time, would have healed from Sleep due to the Sleep Check. One retreat Cost. Great cards. It deserves a 8.5.
 
2. Giovanni's Magikarp
Ancestral Memory is the only thing I see in this card. In caes you don't know what it does, here's what the attack says:
Ancestral Memory
W            40
Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Either way, you can't use this attack again as long as Giovanni's Magikarp stays in play(even putting it on the Bench won't let you use it again.
 
As you can see, this card can do 40 damage your first turn, and already this spells big trouble. If you don't attack first, you opponent will most likely KO it with a card like Electabuzz. Flail Around, Giovanni's Magikarp's second, attack, is bad value. It's something you avoid like you would avoid drugs.
I give it a 4.5.
 
3. Erika's Jigglypuff
Pulled Punch can do 40 damage first turn, guarunteed, to, unlike our previously - talked about Giovanni's Magikarp(either way your opponent's Active Poke'mon won't have any damage counters on it, unless a Rocket's Minefield Gym is played, and that Poke'mon is Switched, but who uses Switch?) Another Psychic Poke'mon's nightmare. This card gets a 8.0
 
4. Energy Flow
This card makes Poke'mon Center more playable, and does excellent with various combos, like Blastoise + Poke'mon Center + Energy Flow. This card deserves a 8.5.
 
5. Misty's Poliwag
Hypnotic Stare gives guarunteed status effects for one Water Energy, and if you want my opinion, Hypnotic Stare is Misty's Poliwag's only use. If using multiples, you might want to put a few Cerulean City Gyms to make Misty's Poliwag's Retreat Cost free and retreat immmediately next turn after using Hypnotic Stare(you can also use a Dodrio). Tail Rap can do 20 , 40 , or no damage, and that is for one Water and one Colorelss Energy. Admit it, the attack is bad.
 
6. Gust of Wind
No Bench is safe with this card. Of course, Dark Vileplume can shut down its usage completely. As simplistic as the effect is, this card is devastating.
 This card truly deserves a 10.0!
 
7. Brock's Onix
100 HP is magnificient for a Basic Fighting Poke'mon. But high retreat cost has always been a problem for Onix. Excellent staller. 8.0.
 
8. Energy Removal
The name says it all....
8.5.
 
9. Bill
The card advantage you can get from this card Bill is truly devastating. This card is worthy of a 9.5.
 
10. Tentacool
One word: Cowardice. free retreat and this Poke'mon make it a hit - and - Run Poke'mon. 7.0.
