I can recall back when Neo Genesis was first released there was some talk
about the pokemon Lanturn and how his pokemon power let you add 10 damage to
his dazzling light attack for each water energy you attached to him, with no
limit to the amount you can add. Sounds great right, just have Blastoise
raindance 10 energies and your doing 120 damage and a 50% chance of
paralyzing. WRONG! There were two problems. The first was obvious since his
type was lightning. And the second was he needed two L energies to use his
attack. Here is the solution for the first problem...Neo 3 Lanturn reads as
follows...

80hp
Pokemon power: Fountain: Once per turn, until the end of your turn you may
treat this card as a water type.
LCC:Aqua Flash 30: flip a coin. If heads the defending pokemon is now
confused.
2 retreat
weak: fighting

Solution to problem #1
Put him in a deck with blastoise and evolve into the neo 3 Lanturn, use his
pokemon power, then raindance at least 5 or 6 water energies on him. Next
use a devolution spray and evolve him into the Neo 1 Lanturn. Now you can do
70 or 80 damage or more with a 50% chance of paralyzing.

Solution to problem #2
Here is what you do. Make up a water/lightning deck, mainly water. This deck
will need a lot of search power to pull it off. Use comuter search,
professor oak/elm, misty anger. As far as pokemon, besides the Blastoise &
Lanturn lines use lapras & eletabuzz.
