Subject: Weekly Card- Guru
'ello! I guess its time for another
Weekly Card. Its good to see (metaphoricly, of course) all you guys agai...OW!
Well, its good to see most of you. Once again, I'm sorry for the WC I
forgot about a few weeks ago. Anywho, this week's card is an interesting new
trainer, Healing Field.
Compatible
Decks
Well, this card fits Best in a
cleaner or arithmitic, mainly because they are designed to OHKO, rather than to
chip away at your opponent's Pokemon. This way, all those little hits
that will add up for a KO are often voided 50% of the time. Plus, you can play
focus and still have a fair healing power. It is at its best in
modified, since most decks go for a OHKO in that format. It can even save
you if your opponent is wearing that Crobat of your's down to set up for a kill.
So, any "heavy hits" deck make good use off this
card.
Other Uses
I suppose you could just use it as a
counter-gym, but its more than that. It could be used in a situation where you
had to just keep stalling and deck your opponent when you have depleted all your
reasourses, it can rejuvenate a cleffa after a succesful Focus, then simply
attach another to return cleffa to 100%, and it will help prevent
early-game KO's, etc. just remember, it's a flip and your opponent can use it
too.
Combos
There are so many, so
I'll just mention a few. Piloswine (I know, soooo original),
Healing Field, [put 1 on top of another if you realy need that 20 off you
:)] and Dark Gloom. (drop it after so your opponent can't use it to help w/
self-damage)
Pretty short overview today, huh? Oh
well.{a rock flys by my head} I really am beginning to hate that
guy.
Please no hate mail, am open for deck
fixes and the sharing of combos and tips.
