Dark Blastoise DOES do 70 damage for the price of Venu's attack. If you read the card it says, every other water energy attached equals 20 damage. You can not add more than 40 damage this way. SEE? So with weakness, that would be 140 damage.

Just because a pokemon takes different energy does not mean you apply a different weakness and resistance. You must do 30 damage to those enemy poliwhirls with your Scyther, hmm? So rage WOULD do 80 damage. And I'm sure if Swords Dance was used, Playing with Fire is a possibility.

AARGHH!! You don't get it, huh? If there were an enemy Charizard, Super Psy would do 100! And I don't believe any colorless pokemon have a resistance to water.

Dark Wartortle is just a slight improvement of base Gastly when it comes to Mirror shell. And only if your opponent is stupid enough to attack, what if they knock out him out with a 10 damage attack, oh I'm sure their regretting knocking him out(heavy sarcasm)
