First I'd like to apologize for my 5 faulty
tip on Smeargle (tips 1-5). But I'm undaunted by my failure to read the card
properly, so here are 5 tips for Recall. Hope they help...
1 Clefable/Cleffa
You're out of options and you're facing a poke that
you can't harm (Elekid, Ditto, etc.). If you've evolved your Clefable from a
Cleffa and Clefairy, you can get a new hand! Umm... you
could've just used an Elm, though... oh well...
2 SER
You use a couple of SERs to set your opponent turns
back...and then still attack with a dinky little 1 or 2 energy
attack.
3 Charizard/Charmeleon
You use Fire Spin with 4 Recycles, and two come
back to your hand. Unfortunately, your opponent's Ditto is still alive (and
still recuperating from blowing two DCEs last turn for it's Fire Spin). You know
that he/she can just use a Switch or Scoop Up to KO you next turn, so you
need to KO it for your last prize this turn, but how (your opponent used Gold
Berry last turn)? Attach a Recycle, use Recall, and Pluspower, and the Power,
and then Flamethrower, and then you draw a prize (conveniently your last) for
the win! Unlikely, but true!
4 Steelix/Onix
This is actually two tips in one! Steelix + Neo
Onix is first up. Steelix takes damage VERY slowly, so it can do a lot of
damage. Then when damage gets REALLY high, use Recall and do anywher from 10 (if
you use it on a fresh Steelix, which would be stupid) to a whopping 110 damage!
Then, here's the combo with Base Onix. Put on 4 Metal, 2 Fighting, and hope that
you didn't burn many cards to get there. Then Recall and Harden. All attacks
doing less then 80 damage do NOTHING! YES! Item Finders and Trash Exchange
keep those Recalls coming back for more!
5 Gyarados/Magikarp
Ya, so everyone knows this one. I gave you two in
the last one, so here goes... Recall Flail when Gyarados has heavy damage.
(note: Rapid Evolution won't work... see illegal evolutions in the new
rulebook...
if you see anymore fatal flaws...
And thanks to Douglas Mulhern for pointing out my
fatal flaws (Paint only works on the defending!)
