I'm here on my first post to write about my thoughts on playing Pokémon in tournaments or just playing casually (at Pokémon League for instance.)

First of all, I have been to many tournaments, and usually attend at least one Pokémon League session each week. I personally prefer playing at League, because of the friendlier atmosphere. If you make a joke at a tournament whilst playing a card, people yell at you, "Quit your slow play!" and you just want to go home to mommy. That's not very fun.

At League, people don't care if you make jokes. They have fun playing against me (not to brag or anything like that, so don't take it that way) and I always seem to have a line of people trying to play me. When you create a friendly atmosphere, you get huge results!

Then you have people at tournaments. I'm not slamming any of you, most of you are excellent card players and deserve recognition for such, but seriously, lighten up! Pokémon isn't just one big tournament! It's a game; you're supposed to have fun with it!

Please send your comments to me at thrasher@inconnect.com. Be reasonable when you e-mail me, people saying, "YOU R DUM AMCUZ YOU DON"T LIKE TOURNAMENTS!!!11" are going to get ridiculed.
