1. THE EVOLUTION
ATTACK
instead of a bsic pokemon(maybe stage 1 as well,)
using 1 of their attacks u could use the evo attack (not on the first turn of
course).
Flip a coin.If heads search your deck for the next
stage in evolution card and evolve it, end of your turn.
This is what i call a "natural mechanism"there is
no "natural mechanism" for basic pokemon to evolve, which means decks with alot
of pokemon that evolve have to devote valuable space to trainers that help
them evolve thus wating space for other types of trainers that bbp decks enjoy
using. this rule helps eleviate the problem sightly, helping pokes to
evolve but at the same time being no garantee(no big advantage over bbps that do
not evolve). small basics would have at least a chance to evolve and fight the bbp(big basic pokemon on better
terms).
example. player 1 has a bbp deck(electrabuzz,
zapdos, sneasel, ditto) against player 2's 4 ghastly, 4 haunter, 4 gengar and 4
charmander,4 charmeleon, 3 charizard deck.
now with this new rule in place all player 2 has to
worry about is getting his/her basic pokes into play first and a bit of luck
they could advance up the evo chain faster and
rival player 1's deck(in theory yes-gym hero/challenge pokes good for
this)
2.THE EVOLUTION STONE
pokemon tool same rules.Attach to 1 of your
basics(maybe stage 1 too,) in play, put 3 counters on the
stone.
at the end of your turns only( maybe every turn)
remove a counter from stone, when the last one is removed at the end of
the turn evolve pokemon.
what a great card this would be in real life if it
existed, but it doesn't currently to my knowledge( neo4's out in japan,
double light energy????. and a pokemon tool i did
think of a couple of months ago a version of balloon berry..shame-
my version reduce retreat cost by 1 or 2 or
all)
3.BASIC VERSIONS OF STAGE 1 AND 2
POKEMON
Balance attacks(not to strong not to
weak), they cannot evolve, seperate from thier stage 1 and 2 counter
parts, stage 1 and 2
versions should still be superior.
4.POKEMON WITH 2 WEAKNESSES AND
RESISTANCES
5.POKEMON TOOL THAT HEALS 30 DAMAGE, 10
PER TURN ONLY WHEN U HAVE 30 OR MORE DAMAGE
