With the introduction of the Neo Set and the resurgence of Rainbow

Energies.  I've begun to notice far more decks containing Dark, Metal, and

Rainbow Energies.

    I've also noticed a revival of the Energy Removal card and pokemon that

do the same thing.  Eco Gym, Chaos Gym and Energy Removal Gym are easily

countered if they are replaced with another stadium card.  With the

introduction of Igglybuff, people are using Slowking, less and less.

    There is a card that I noticed is often overlooked but crucial to Dark or

Metal decks and that's the Fossil Gastly.  Fossil Gastly's Energy Conversion

can retrieve energies lost by removal but the best part is...  It doesn't

have to be a Basic Energy Card.  Gastly also work as a minor stall card but

it's true power lies in undoing Special Energies lost to Energy Removal.

P     Lick - Flip a coin if heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed

PP   Energy Conversion - Put up to 2 Energy cards from your discard pile into

your hand.

         Gastly does 10 damage to itself.
