This is Dragon Master with another old deck idea that could resurface in the current environment with the proper tools. It's a deck built around Erika's Victreebel, a card which acts as a Gust of Wind and a beefy hitter. People just have to know how it works. Erika's Victreebel was good but Energy Denial decks, Haymaker decks, etc. destroyed it. People can just use the proper tools to replant this card into the garden of the current environment today with, as promised, the Beauty Salon Trap deck.

Beauty Salon Trap Deck:

Pokémon(16):
4 Erika's Bellsprout Lv. 12(Gym: Heroes)
3 Erika's Weepinbell Lv. 30
3 Erika's Victreebel
1 Cleffa(Neo Genesis)
2 Murkrow
3 Igglybuff(Neo Discovery)

Trainers(29):
3 Gust of Wind
3 Erika
2 Imposter Oak's Revenge
3 The Rocket's Trap
3 Rocket's Sneak Attack
2 Item Finder
2 Celadon City Gym
3 Secret Mission
2 Ecogym
1 Erika's Perfume
1 Super Energy Retrieval
2 Gold Berry

Energy(15):
4 Darkness Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
7 Grass Energy
    Okay, let me explain how this deck works. It works on using a lot of Trapper cards to leave your opponent in a Blowhard Trap, a kind of Trap which makes a bunch of Pokémon easy knockout or trap targets. I call the deck Beauty Salon Trap because it contains a Pokémon fit for a beauty salon(hehehe), Erika's Victreebel. That doesn't mean in any way that it's bad. Once again, fix the deck to suit your style.
    Of all three Erika's Bellsprout cards, I chose the Lv. 12 one from Gym: Heroes. I mean, none of them can actually stall, but this one's Poison Soup attack will be a nasty side effect early which will make you have an easier time. Of the two Erika's Weepinbell cards, I chose the Lv. 30 one because Sleep Poison is simply evil and Vine Whip is not a bad attack for the 3rd turn. As for Erika's Victreebel, it's Pokémon Power: Fragrance Trap is the main component of this deck as well as Gust of Wind. It simply gives you a chance to pick who you want to face, which is always good. Yes, his attack is a three-Energy attack, but this isn't a major problem since with the deck's Trainer selection, we know when and when not to attack with Erika's Victreebel. Here's how: Secret Mission and Erika's Perfume and Rocket's Sneak Attack allow us to see what's coming. As for the lone Cleffa, I used it to get a new hand when needed. The Murkrow serve as an awesome combo with Erika's Victreeebel. Erika's Victreebel lures them out and Murkrow stops them cold and starts bench bashing. Then, Erika's Victreebel gusts and beats later(after the damaged Pokémon are ready for the final blow). With the Trap combo at your side, Murkrow won't always need that Trainer disruption deck type we commonly see it in. The Igglybuff are there to get around Pokémon Powers that threaten the deck, like Slowking's Mind Games.
    As for the Trainers, here goes. Gust of Wind allows you to give it a good blowhard if Erika's Victreebel fails. Erika is there for a Trap trick. You and your opponent draw, your opponent loses the cards he/she drew when Imposter Oak's Revenge or another Trap card is played, denying all advantage. Imposter Oak's Revenge, The Rocket's Trap, and Rocket's Sneak Attack make up the well-known Trap combo, a key element to the deck. The Item Finder cards allow you to get back needed Trainers. Celadon City Gym is used when one of your Erika Pokémon is Active to cancel out status effects, but with the low Energy count, you probably ask, how will I afford its cost??? Simple. You play your Super Energy Retrieval later to get back the Energy. Secret Mission was used instead of Professor Oak because it helps the Trap combo more. It allows you to look at your opponent's hand before discarding, so you know when to play it. The Ecogym are to be used when needed, like with Murkrow or when your opponent has that Super Energy Removal. Erika's Perfume is a commonly overlooked card, but you ask yourself, why is it in this deck?? It's simple. It greatly improves the Trap combo and works great with Murkrow and Erika's Victreebel, and if you need it back, you play Item Finder. Gold Berry is just there for staying power.
    The Energy are all there for the obvious reasons. Grass to power Grass, Darkness to power Darkness, and Rainbow to be used when needed.
