Okay, I never quite realized this entire "HP analysis" thing. What exactly is the purpose of these articles again? True, high HP comes at a price, whether it be high evolution or bad attacks, but do we really need to go through the mathematical formulas to prove that point? Plus, these formulas are completely useless if HP is the factor that got weaked. What do I mean?
Take Mr. Mime. If his HP was, say, 70, he would either be broken, or probably lose his Pokemon Power. HP is the factor that needed to be weakened in Mime in order to not make him invincible and dominate all tourneys.
I think these articles prove nothing. So what if your system, with all its mathematical formulas, says the card's bad? We still think the cards are good, because some of the pokemon you listed are excellent for qualities other than HP. Plus, Charizard's stages each have high HP. Better rethink that!

PS: When we say average HP, we mean mode, or most common, HP for that stage. We didn't take all the pokemon of that stage and average the HP. I read an article on a person, whose name I will not give, doing that.
