Hi Pojofanatics! This is again Spencer. I have recieved lots of hate mail,
and before I go into a big shpeal I want to tell you I apprceiate it. Not
that I want you to clobber me with hate mail, just I care about what you have
to say. Whatever.
Now for the BIG advice.
Q + A:
Why do Team Rocket Cards have so little HP?

This is to add chance to the game. You see they have extremally advantageous
pokemon powers, but that means Wizards of the Coast adds challenge to the
game to see if you can handle the pokemon well enough that they have time to
use these powers. On the other hand, some trainers will see more use, and
this is because of that little element of chance.

So why include Team Rocket Cards in your deck?

The point is, if your deck functions in a certain way, some TEAM ROCKET CARD M
UST have some pokemon power or attack befiting that goal. This is another
point in team rocket. Also, pokemon have less expensive retreats. This is a
fully functioning benifit. Card combos, like Blastoise and Dark Blastoise is
TERRIFIC. Rain Dance away, for 70 damage every turn. That kills Hitmonchan,
Machop, Farfetched, Electabuzz, Syther, etc. etc. etc. Bleh! Think about it!
True, Electabuzz might k.o. it, but you can stall with chansey until the
supossed "Big Bang!" occurs.

What does a typical deck have?

A typical Beat Down:

14-19 Pokemon (Fast attackers)
20-24 Energies
17-26 Trainers (Constant Energy Removal, S.E.R., and Pluspower)

A typical Stall:

18-20 Pokemon (Psychic, Mr. Mime, Mewtwo, Alakazam, etc.)
20 Energies (Psychic)
20-22 Trainers (G.O.W ds and Energy Removal)

A typical Evolution:

18-24 Pokemon (Plenty of duplicates of Basics to make evolution succesful)
24-28 Energies
8-18 Trainers (Pokemon Trader and Breeder, along with plenty of Prof. Oak and
Bill, and plenty of card locators)

My deck evolution isn't coming out successfully. Now what?

Like I said above, put plenty of computer search and many other special card
locators. (Of course, preferabley Computer Search because of its ability to
gey any card, not just a trainer, etc.

Which is the best of the three decks is the best?

I prefer beat-down, because there is a way to beat down any deck with it.
With careful use of G.O.W. and energy removal, psychic decks will fall. Plus,
in heavy evolutions, most colorless "walls" have weakness to Hitmonchan.
Fighting.

That about wraps up part 1 of FAQ.

Spencer
