Anyway, on another note I'm still putting part 2 of the Digimon thing on the drawing board to make it the most comprehensive I can. But what I want to talk to you about is the Poor Man's Haymaker. We've all heard of the old version from Base Set but I'm going to make a variant using the newer cards at our disposal. Let's take a look at something close to the original.

Pokemon:
4 Charmanders
4 Machops
4 Rattata
4 Magmar (Base Set)
4 Farfetch'd

Trainers:
4 Bill
4 Oak
4 GoW
4 Energy Removal

Energy:
14 Fire
10 Fighting

That's pretty close to the original I think. It's haymaker without any rares which are predominent in more conventional versions. Unfortunately, this version came out when Jungle was just a dream.
Now, with the combined expansions of Jungle, Fossil, and Rocket we can very much expand on a this type of deck. We need to be creative so we'll turn to the base of creativity, Brainstorming. I'll write down a few pokemon or trainers from each set which we could use in a haymaker-type thingy.

Base Set:
1. any thing in it already
2. Jnyx
3. Double Colorless
4. Doduo?
5. PlusPower
6. Ponyta

Jungle:
1. Jigglypuff
2. Nidoran F
3. Pikachu
4. Lickitung

Fossil:
1. Magmar
2. Ekans
3. Gastly
4. Gambler

Rocket:
1. Nightly Garbage Run
2. Psyduck
3. Grimer
4. Squirtle
5. Charmander
6. Ekans
7. Voltorb

That was my brainstorm and if you can think of others than you can put them in but any way here's my version.

2/2 Magmar (Base/Fossil)
4 Voltorb (Rocket)
4 Charmander (Rocket)
4 Machop (Base)
4 Jigglypuff

Trainers:
4 Bill
4 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Oak
4 Energy Removal
4 GoW

Energy:
7 Electric
5 Fighting
10 Fire

That's my version of the New Age Poor Man's Haymaker. You don't have to really follow it but I just want to alert the Pojo community that you don't have to break the bank in order to make a haymaker.
