I have a few strategies on how to get metal/dark energy faster in your decks! They are the following:

1. Energy Retrieval- So your opponet uses E.R./S.E.R.; you E.retrieval and its back to your hand. Since darkness is a basic energy card but you can only 4 in a deck, right?

 

2. Super Energy Retieval- same as #1

 

3. Energy Search- just search for metal and dark energy

 

4. Nightly Garbage Run- get pokemon and those energies!

 

5.Energy Charge and Energy Arc- close to #1 but no cigar
