The three cards that are a must for most grass
decks is the Venusaur family, the Meganium, and the Pokemon Center trainer.
First of all the Venusaur family is a force you don't usually want to go against
because of ENERGY TRANS, and second the high hp and attack power of him.
Meganium lv.57 is a nice card just becuase of his WILD GROWTH pokemon power. Not
to mention 4 energy do 40 damage and attomatic sleep that's pretty good and
that's what makes it equal and/or better in certain not rare at all
situations, because of WILD GROWTH you actually need two energy
instead of one that is what makes me give it the best Pokemon Power Helps
Attack Award of the Month. Now combine that with Venusaurs ENERGY TRANS and
that makes it a whole lot easier to power up those high energy cost cards. This
combo is so broken I called my local deck mechanic and he said, "There ain't a
darn thing I can do with this pair, they are to broken to be fixed, sonnyboy."
Everybody remembers the Venusuar/ Pokemon Center combo right? Well even if you
don't have Venusuar the cheap energy cost with WILD GROWTH makes it no big deal
to use Pokemon Center on a damaged pokemon with energy attached. Since you do
have Venusaur with this three card combo what you do is you use WILD GROWTH,
than use ENERGY TRANS to move energy around were they need to be right now and
Pokemon Center the damage away and, BAM! You are ready to take on any deck. You
can also use scoop up on basics than play again and same as above. Here is a
good deck they work in.
Pokemon:20
2 Venusaur
3 Ivysaur
4 Bulbasaur
2 Meganium
3 Bayleef
4 Chikorita
2 R.Scyther
Trainers: 20
3 Pokemon Breeder
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Pokemon Center
2 Recycle
2 Nightly Garbage Run
3 Gold Berry
3 Berry
Energy:20
20 Grass
That is how the three-some should be used and if
you don't own any Venusaur then use scoop up in place of Ivysaur and what ever
you thing would help the deck and take advantage of WILD GROWTH,
cough...Pinsir...cough.
