I just recieved the information and format of this new "and improved"

expansion into the Pokemon Card Game. Now as an expierenced battler that has

been at this game since the game debuted over 2 1/2 years ago. I have stuck

through it all, even in times of pure disgust, and boredom. This set angers,

and disgusts me very much. And I will tell you why:

1. They eliminated Evolution, making Stage 1s and 2s BASIC...

~ Ok, now lemme get this straight, Blastoise, turn one, hmm what is wrong

with this picture. With Neo Discovery hitting shelves all of the country,

unleashing powerful evolutions, such as Beedrill, Tyranitar, Forretress, and

Holo Espeon, for example. How does this make ANY sense at all with this game.

The point of evolution, is to increase the power and strength of your basics

through Trainers, talent, and a little bit of luck. Anyways, what is the

POINT of releasing Neo 3 and 4, if they are going to screw up the format like

this? All this this situation is, is a "new and exciting" way to play the

game. And in actuality it is just a way to increase the power of the almighty

dollar, markup, more moolah, thats it.

2. They cut the deck in half, strategy reduced to zero.

~Ok, now don't get me wrong, but aren't we supposed to have a deck refined to

our tastes, and inviduality. Trainers add the spice, the essence into decks.

Cutting this down, leaves room for energy and trainers. Hmm, now what does

this do? Makes the game even MORE based on luck, who gets set up faster.

Speed and power is now gone. Oak, Comp Search, Item Finder, Bill, etc, etc

are all cut down. Limited Pluspower, Lass, RSA, ER/SER is not the situation,

even if they allow these cards to be played in this set. Who has the better

hand, and the luck that day will win...I do not get these varied and feeble

attempts to make us players "play new things", so they chop the deck in half

eliminate speed, and disruption, brilliance, pure brilliance.

3. Previous cards, and the Future?

~Ok, what do we do now? Where do we go from here? How do we make our decks

now? So what in the world are we supposed to do now? How do these brand new

cards affect or reflect the cards already released? These questions cannot be

answered, and if they are, they will more than likely add more to the chaos

that is rampaging throughout the world of this game. How does this help the

game, what is the POINT of this new evolution of the card game.

I urge you fellow veterans, and Pokemaniacs out there to respond, and take

action! If we can give 15+ at chance at the STS, we can at least give Wizards

a piece of our mind, and let them know how we stand about this, and it may be

possible that it may not be released in English, or these special conditions

will be modified or eliminated.
