OK, I realize I'm a bit late with this, I mean, Jungle isn't even in print
anymore, but here it is anyway. What do you think of when you think of the
Jungle expansion? Grass families. Here we go:

Nidoran F:

Basic: This is a pretty good card, Fury Swipes for 1 and 60 HP is good for a
common evolving Basic.
Stage 1: Errgh, this isn't the greatest. Confuse is good, and has the
potential for lotsa damage, but EVERYTHING reqires a coinflip. Not very
good, I would recommend using a Breeder.
Stage 2: IF you play a TOTAL Nido deck, the first attack is OKAY... but
mostly this card is pathetic. You can get the second attack in a Basic with
Pinsir or in an uncommon with Nidorino. OK IF you play an all-Nido deck, but
not so hot otherwise, HP is the only thing in its favor.
Overall: Consider putting this in if you have lots of Nidokings, but
otherwise stick to the Basic for some early-game Swiping or forget it.

Oddish:

Basic: This is an OK card. Pretty standard, with 50 HP and 1/2 Paralyze,
nothing special.
Stage 1: This (in my opinion) is the single most strategy and luck-requiring
card. If the enemy can't KO you next turn, a good thing to do is
Poisonpowder, then Foul Odor to confuse and let them suffer and rot.
Switches aslo help. This guy is the only one that guarantees a Confuse,
making him worth it quite often.
Stage 2: Unless your deck is LOADED with Switches and Full Heals, I would
only use this guy as a last resort or as a Healing benchwarmer. Granted, 40x
3 coins can be good, but guaranteed confusing yourself is not. At least
Gloom confuses the other guy.
Overall: Gloom and obviously Oddish are an absolute MUST in a Status Change
deck, Or even as a deck in themselves. Vileplume is not as good and worth
avoiding.

Bellsprout:

Basic: This is really nothing special, a standard evolving common basic.
satge 1: This guy is GOOD. He's a Haymaker in himself. worth looking into
for your deck.
Stage 2: One of the most underrated cards, this guy is the Grass becnh
KILLA. Lure is Great, and Acid is wonderful to keep them from retreating
away oyur poison. Only downside is he's a Stage 2.
Overall: If you have the cards and have room in your deck, PUT THESE GUYS
IN. They ROCK. I'll bet 10 to 1 that those people claiming they are "the
worst cards in the game" have never played with them. Trust me, they rock.

C'ya L8R, Pojoheads!
