After a while of playing my Raindance and never having an Oak
when I need
one I figured I'd add a fourth one. I thought it wouldn't make a difference
from having 3 but it does.In a turbo dance where you have Blastoise and hard
hitting basic(Lapras and Articuno) pokemon I think 4 Professor Oaks is a
requirement.
In a Raindance with lots of evolutions like Gyaridos, 3 Oaks works
just
fine, but you may want 4 if you never have enough energy.
Another thing is I think in a Turbo Dance deck you should have
22(water)energies and probably more. Unless of course you have tons of
energy retrievals. In Raindance with lots of evolving you should have the
same as Turbo Dance or less, but still pack Energy Retrieval.
Probably the worst thing that can happen to Raindance is decking. I
usually resolve this by simply adding Mr. Fuji in my deck for the late game.
It works good for me since I usually have an extra Blastoise(I usually only
use Fuji if I have 3 in play),Articuno(this usually is what I Fuji since I
always have like 3 in play), or an evolved pokemon that has lots of energy.
If you have some extra water you could raindance and then Fuji to play that
last Oak without decking right away.
Computer Search and Pokemon Trader are musts in Raindance. I use 3
CPU
searches because they usually get me a Pokemon Breeder or Professor Oak when
I need one. Pokemon Trader is there to get that Blastoise out and then get
him in play and use Professor Oak.
That was a little more on Raindance from me.
