Hey pojo-
This site rules first off and here I am going to explain ho
wyou can
revise the main
type of decks and make them still very good ones.
First off is the Haymaker. This deck should not be called a
GAYmaker
because most
people who use it aren't gay and it is a good deck that can beat down any
deck. Most
haymakers comsist of the Hitmonchan, Syther, and all-mighty Electabuzz.i have
seen
some versions that also contain Dragonair and dratini and still do well. Most
people who
want to make a Haymaker( hate them) don't have the right cards to do so or
they don't
have the required amount. Since there is the new base set 2(cheap rip off) the
Hitmonchans and Sythers will apear more, but the Electabuzz is still hard
to
find. if you
can't fill the electabuzz space try adding Dragonairs line or The Clefable
line in. I have
seen many decks that have the Clefable line and are kickin butt. The name of
the game
is speed and a that is all you need so try to add speed pokémon that can do a
lot of
damage fast. Some Pokémon i would not add are Charizard(more price then use),
Chansey, Magneton, Nido's, Poliwrath, Zapdos, or Venusaur. And in jungle don't
use any
of them becides the Clefable because they are all to slow.
Raindance, doesn't that sound like a nice slow dance or
something?? Not
here at
Pokémon TCG because this is a get out Blastiose, slap down energy deck, before
the
opponet can attack. In this deck the main objective is to get out Blastiose
and use his
pokémon power to slap down energy on the high damage dewgongs and Gyarados.
Blastiose uses the breeders to get up his final form and not even using
wartortle. The
breeders seem to come in handy incase a squirtle is out fighting rather then
waiting 2
turns and letting damage line up on him. Most players can't find the
Blastioses they need
to fill the requirements so they put in Laprasand other fast hitting Pokémon.
The best
thing to do if you can't get the Blastioses you need for the deck is to put in
as many as
you can and then add Computer Searches of the weaker Poké Ball and Pokémon
trader
to get him out faster that away. The raindances noramally only have
2
Gyarados , but
if you can't get Blastioses, then take one out and add trainers there and if
any extra
space add Laprases or more Dewgongs and Seels. I right now have a Raindance
tht has 1
Blastiose and many trainers designed to get him out quicklyand it is kickin
butt and has
never been beat!! Try all the variations above if you want to tame the
Raindance Deck.
Damage Swamp.... Not much you can do there because in this
deck you have
to have
the Alakazam and the Chansey or else it isn't a Damage swamp. Try different
wys to
ubsorb damage and E-mail them to me : SuperStarSpin@netscape.net.
Sponge isn't a deck that you can change much because the
Movie Mewtwo is
needed
badly, but you can always add abse ones and energy retreivals or get the Super
energy
retreival from one of the japaness sets.
Wigglytuff. The main idea here is to get out wigglytuff
and do the wave.
Wigglyutff's
weakness is the energy removal and now a lot of decks have them. So here
the
best
thing to do is to try and get wigglytuff out fast before the other trainer can
get his ER
out. The computer searches and Energy search come in handy here so you can get
the
Pokemon and energy you need out fast. try to add Poké Balls if you don't have
the
Computer searches. ALso the Bills come in handy so you can get pokemon o fill
your
bench. Only problems here are getting energy screwed, so add alot of energy
along with
4 DCE.
The last deck is the piss of your opponent deck. These decks
are designed
to piss off
your opponent so they can't attack and keep switching from pokemon to pokemon.
Butterfree works good here, but if you can't find him, add in 4 gust Of winds
along with
some switches. The Clefable also helps here with his metrnome to kill your
opponents
Pokémon with there own attacks. That really pisses them off. The Pidgeot
family all
have the attack which sends back the active pokemon which the opponent usually
charges up. If you addd the Butterfree you can also add the Victreebel
lIne
because the
Lure attack will send in new, weaker Pokemon or pokémon you have already
damaged
and kill them quicker. All these pokémon and trainersreally piss of the
opponent.
Those are all the major decks out there in the pokemon world
that I can
think of. I
hope this will help you design that perfict deck you want. Peace out and
stay
kool, Spin.
