Probably the only way I usually ever lose is by decking myself and
letting
my opponent strip away all his prizes. I don't lose by no basics much. I am
going to tell some ways to Possibly prevent decking for each type of Majorly
played deck.
Raindance-Personally I use Mr. Fuji for this. Since you might have an extra
Blastoise or two you might want to Raindance a lot of energys onto Blastoise
and use Mr. Fuji. I don't know about you but this works well for me.Lass
isn't good in this type of deck, because you need your trainers even in the
late game. Gambler is good most of the time but in Raindance you will
usually never have a hand of more than 7 cards after Raindance.
Haymaker-I think Lass is best suited for this deck. Because Haymakers
normally run a ton of trainers. And I am always stuck with extra Bills and
Oaks in the late game that I don't want to use. Mr.Fuji is good for giving
you a couple turns to get those last prizes. Gambler may be good but just
like Raindance you usually won't have the large hand for this.
Stall(Damage Swap)-Gambler probobly fits in here since in the late game You
always have stuff you don't need anymore in Stall(Well, I am always stuck
that way-extra Kadabras,Abras etc.). Lass isn't a good choice because you
need Pokemon Centers even in the late game(cause in the late game usually
people will attack the most and inflict the most damage).Mr. Fuji could be a
good choice to if you have big evolved pokemon crammed with energies.
Stall(Wildfire)-Lass can't be used at all not even in the late game because
you will usually be screwing yourself using this card. Gambler could be good
if you ever manage to keep a hand of over 8 or 9 cards. Mr. Fuji might be
good if you used it on your Moltres with like 12 fire energies on i(But,
that will normally screw up the theme)
Energy Denial-Lass will be bad normally,Mr. Fuji will be good if you use it
on a powered pokemon, Gambler might be good.
AeroMew-It seems like Mr. fuji wouldn't be good becuase all you usually have
is basic pokemon that take very little energy to charge, and this type of
Haymaker is slow becuase you usually run into Hitmonlee and Aerodactyl. So
those extra turns might not help.
Speedrill-Don't really know this one.
Cleaner-Mr. Fuji would help if you had an extra Arcanine with lots of
energy(Don't get me wrong other cleaners have people like Dewgong)
Thats all the types of decks that I could think of at the moment.
