Hi. Today I will be talking about Fire, an underated type in the
Pokemon
TCG. Being an experienced Fire user myself, I know a lot of secrets. One
thing that everyone should agree on is that CHARIZARD ISN'T THE BEST. Use
Ninetales or, if you're on a limited budget, Arcanine. Now if you
decide
to use Ninetales, don't forget Energy Retrievals because you'll be
surprised how fast you can run out of Energy. If you prefer Arcanine, like
me, Defenders are a must if you want to Take Down and not kill yourself
easily. Now we move on to one of the better Fire cards, Magmar (woohoo).
Now it could be a tough decision on what Magmar to put in your deck. It
all depends on how you like to play. If you are offensive and want to kill
anything that stands between you and victory, take Base all the way! But
if you just wanna take it easy, Fossil is your man. Myself, I use 2
of
each because of variety. Next comes Flareon, who is pretty underated.
Now
you might be saying "Ninetales is way better!", but does Ninetales
come in
Non-Holo? No! Back to Flareon. He isn't too shabby because he can
use DCE
for Flamethrower. 1 Retreat isn't bad for a Stage One and 70 HP is still
pretty good. Now we come to Rapidash, the Equalizer. Rapidash is
powerful
with Agility cuz of 50% chance of invincibility. That's amazing.
Plus,
Ponyta isn't that bad, but should have a Free Retreat, like Rapidash. And,
last but not least, is Moltres(Triple Woohoo Woohoo Woohoo). I like this
guy because he has the power to be offensive and defensive. Wildfire is
great to end a game and DiveBomb should only be used in case of Emergency.
Thanx for reading this long article. I hope you decide to look at Fire
from a better point of view, especially Viper Du.
